Nice little local restaurant has fantastic pizza and pasta. The salads are ok, kinda blan, I thought. The chicken in the Asian chicken salad was dry and flavorless. The pasta was good and had a nice chunky, veggy mania sauce. The service is great the atmosphere is wonderful with a big outdoor coverd patio. I'm from the NY tristate area and we're very picky about our pizza. Since moving to the PNW, we haven't come across great pizza yet. However, La Fiamma tasted like home. So fresh, perfect blend of chewy and crispy crust. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in Bellingham. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

We had a great time at La Fiamma, we got sat very quickly. The air conditioning was quite cool and breezy inside, I'd recommend bringing in something in case you get cold. The only reasons I'm giving service 4 stars is because the party in line behind us got their drinks first and had their food order taken, even before we got greeted by our waitor. The other thing is that my wife ordered an espresso martini and she got a floral infused water instead (this was quickly fixed though!) I do not recommend the tomato soup. It comes with balsamic Glaze on top and the soup was slightly spicy / barbecue flavor I expect savory and creamy for tomato soup. My garlic knots were pretty dense and I was hoping for more melty cheese (lots of shavings on top). The pizza was phenomenal. It is wood fired so you won't ever get a solid crisp, but it is excellent when compared to other pizzas in Washington. Definitely on the expensive side ($100 after tip) and it's a solid date night option for bellingham. We went here with 3 kids, a new dining experience for both of us, and our family felt welcome from reception to departure. We even lucked out and a staff member ran a baby sock that we accidentally left on ground out to the parking lot (never would have missed it).
