I went to try this new mexican place by Milford Beach (Walnut Beach). It is a small restaurant but with a couple of tables inside to sit down. Nicely decorated. Staff are friendly and the food is very good well proportioned. Prices are not cheap, they are decent but for the food proposition I dont think is bad. Instead of chips and salsa, you get black beans and homemade chips; they were so good. We orderes red enchiladas a bit spicier than in other places very tasting and Carne Asada.

Friendly service from walking in the door. As soon as we tasted the appetizers we knew we would be coming back again and again.
We tried the empanadas and elote. Then the birria tacos, the blackened shrimp tacos, and the tacos placeros as well as the churros and tres leche.
Everything is phenomenal. Don’t sleep on this place!

First impression was fantastic. Ordered the carne asada torta.... the meat was unbelievably flavorful, perfect combination of ingredients on fresh toasted bread, and the thing was MASSIVE. My wife got a steak quesadilla. I know a good quesadilla when I see one and this was perfect with flavorful steak and a perfectly grilled tortilla. Strongly recommend both of these. Salsa on the side tasted fresh. Can't wait to continue to try more of their food! Also it was so fast, called for pick up, it was ready to go in less than 15 minutes. I'll definitely be a frequent customer.

La Catrina was amazing! My family dined in and had the tacos, quesadilla, and burrito and everyone loved their food! We will definitely be going back and highly recommend!

Amazing food and friendly attentive staff. Food was fresh prompt and delicious. I had blackened shrimp tacos my wife had a massive pork burrito bowl all for under $35 with our nonalcoholic drinks. We will be back!

Amazing food! We ordered the chicken burritos and they were delicious. The food is super fresh. They give complimentary chips and bean dip. I got a Mexican Sprite (with no high fructose corn syrup), super friendly staff. we were extremely impressed. We will be back!

This place is so cute and worth a try. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the best places fit that category.
When you sit down you get some delicious chips and some black beans that are yummy.
My husband ordered the Langoniza and chicken tacos. I had the steak and carnitas tacos. All four had plenty of meat and toppings on them and they were very good. My husband likes adding the lime to his tacos, but I chose to taste them without it.
I got the sweet plantains as a side and requested a moment to just be with them alone. They were THAT good. Not sure what the sauce on them was, but it was a very pleasant surprise.
Our waiter was super helpful and helped steer me away from things that are spicy. So glad we decided to give it a try!

Fell in love with this restaurant. Brings back a lot of flavor from Mexico traditional dishes. The first time I went, I ordered birria tacos. They were delicious. The second time I went, I ordered enchiladas in salsa roja, spicy sauce. And the flavor was amazing it didn't disappoint. It brought back memories of when I go to Mexico to eat. Very good restaurant, staff is friendly overall a very good experience. Must try it for yourself. Will definitely be going back again and again.
