If you want an amazing hot sandwich to go, La Casita Chilanga is amazing. The combination of flavors on each of their creations is an explosion of delight in your mouth. A torta for one person is a heavy meal, so if you're looking for a light lunch, split one with a friend. Folks are nice there and the shop is pleasant, but this is a place where you give your order, wait outside for a few minutes, and then get your food in a bag to go. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
Tiny little shack, this is the place to come if you like tortas. Their menu has catchy names, the food was good, they automatically come with avocado and jalapeños. Now, don't let the little shack make you think their tortas are small, oh no, they can be shareable!!! They were so good, I ate mine before I could take a picture. Amazing sandwiches or tortas. I had the Cubano and it was really good. Highly recommend the place. It's a hole in the wall - perfect for pickups. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Torta Cubana
As a professional torta eater from Mexico City I can say comfortably that this is a great torta place. I had the classic cubana and it was great. I don't give 5 starts because there is no place to eat inside and no chipotles for the torta. Will come back. Service Take out Price per person $10–20

Really good tortas/sandwiches. Free parking out front. The place can seat about 9 people.

A cute lil taqueria with minimal seating but with very distinctive and easily recognized exterior. The worker was on feet, courteous and joyful. It's always a good sight to hear a kitchen full of cheerful coworkers at a restaurant 💞💞💞 I got the Torta Cubana and I have to say half of one is so filling (and I have a big appetite). I would say "inflation where?" after one bite because every bite was so decadently filled with well seasoned sausages, meat, peppers and onions. The hibiscus agua de fresca is amazing too! Overall, would come back! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Torta Cubana
Great food but one employee tall dude has nasty attitude I despise his customer service Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Some of the bed tortas I’ve had. Interesting different versions of your favorite mexican sandwiches
Best tortas in the Bay Area! Service Take out Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Solid place to get a great tasting torta. The Torta Cubana is tried and true and is the go-to. Your food is ready in a reasonable amount of time Its a quaint little (and I mean little) restaurant but you dont really go there for the ambiance. Just get your fat ol' sandwich and go. Or eat there on the counter if there's a spot. All in all, good food spot Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Asada Torta
