The most amazing Chilean Sea Bass and creamy risotto with buerre blanc. They had a live pianist, that made such a cozy and runabout environment Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Lobster Ravioli
We were there for Valentine’s Day last night. It started out pretty good but went pretty downhill. They had a special valentines menu, 79.99 per person which included shared appetizer, soup/salad each, entree each, and shared dessert. We ordered the fried cheese ravioli and it was good and come out quickly. We both ordered Caesar salad which were both good. For our entree we both elected to pay $29.99 extra each for the dry aged ribeye. It was to come with honey brussel sprouts, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. When we finally got our entrees (service significantly slowed down, it took an hour between salads and entrees, but it was Valentine’s Day), we were brought steaks smothered in a mushroom Marsala sauce with Brussels, carrots and mashed potatoes. We suspected we received the wrong steaks as the dry aged ribeye description didn’t mention any mushroom Marsala sauce. There was other steak menu items that mentioned having the steak Marsala sauce, so we assumed it was a mixup. We asked our waiter and he informed us that our steaks were indeed the dry aged ribeyes and that the sauce was supposed to come on the side. We found that odd since the menu description for the dry aged ribeye didn’t mention that. However, we didn’t want to wait another hour for entrees so we ate the steaks. We both ordered medium and these were probably well done. The steaks didn’t taste like they had any seasoning and they were tough. I firmly believe we did not receive the dry aged ribeyes but the sirloin with mushroom Marsala. We had tiramisu for dessert and it was good but it took us 20 minutes to receive it after we ordered. I feel kinda bad for our server. I forget his name but I think he had too many tables. We didn’t see him much and he wasn’t able to be very attentive. Overall we’re pretty disappointed with the service and the entree that we paid over $200 for on a special night out (we didn’t even order drinks). This was our first time here and I was excited to try a local place with good reviews. We could have gone somewhere fancier like Perry’s in Grapevine and paid the same amount for much better food and service. Service was remarkable. Everyone was so nice and attentive. Crab cake and calamari appetizers were delicious. Ordered lamb chops, lobster ravioli and chicken fettuccine. Must try the dates cake! I don’t even like dates and you would never know. Everything was so flavorful. First timer and will definitely return.
