This is the real deal, this place is awesome! The food was served piping hot and flavorful, the pulled pork is tender and juicy, the empanadas are fresh and crispy with delicious fillings. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, with Caribbean music playing overhead. I’m so happy I found this place, definitely will go again! Small establishment but big flavor. Nothing is spicy unless you want the bomba sauce. Three different types of rice to choose from both of the bowls we got was the chicken. The veggies we chose were the root veggie and the beans. They both had really good flavor! The atmosphere was low and quiet. The service was personable. We also ordered the soursop and passion fruit fruit drinks which were also very good. I'd definitely pick this up again and try different combinations. The place is instagram pretty but would definitely be better with some music. My Puerto Rican grandmother requested Mofongo so I ordered her the pork kind and an original flan. The mofongo had good flavor but was tough and definitely needed broth. Just a bit of pork or chicken broth would have made it better, but it was still very good. My family stopped here for lunch while visiting Greek Peak. We ordered a tripleta and two veggie plates. All of our food was fantastic. This is a family run restaurant and it shows. Our experience was incredibly welcoming and friendly. If you're in the area, definitely stop here for a bite to eat. Don't forget to grab one of their many delicious desserts on your way out. We have eaten here several times and have never had a bad meal. Dinners are $20 a plate and the potions are generous. The food is fresh and the owners welcome you in like you are long lost family coming for dinner. It is a great experience each time we go. First time ordering from here and the food was excellent!!! I had the pernil with rice and sweet plantains, and it was delicious, my wife had the chicken stew and she loved it, good portions too.
