Great food. Ordered spicy teriyaki was not too spicy for once . And fried rice was best we had in a while . The portion size is huge ! Great service. I guess they got new owners in February and it is so so different in such a bad way. I ordered katsu and general Tso combo. Nothing is fresh whatsoever. The rice has a crusty outer layer and is pure mush on the inside. The general tso chicken is completely soggy and completely lacks texture. The katsu is soggy and cold, so based on the time I went there it was probably yesterday's katsu. The katsu came with no sauce at all. And the icing on the cake they no longer give you a soda with your combo. So my $17 combo doesn't get a drink. Skip Kyo and head straight to Osaka or Teriyaki Point instead, Kyo has fallen off and isn't the move anymore Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

First time here hostess was super friendly. The dine in area was clean. KYO Teriyaki seemed a little high in price some menu items showed 15.99 + . I ordered chicken fried rice. My fiancé ordered spicy chicken/white rice. Our food tasted pretty good compared to other teriyaki establishments. I will visit again in the future. With food purchase includes a can of soda. Cleanliness 5/5 Tables and chairs & floors were clean Food Quality 5/5 Food tasted freshly prepared Atmosphere 5/5 Quiet a little busy

My family & I used to love this place, but today we got a order of chicken teriyaki, a chicken teriyaki bento box, gyoza & bubble tea & we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food & drink… the prices are a bit more expensive than other teriyaki places & not worth it. The chicken had a very strange smell & tasted bad; couldn’t even eat it. The tempura was soggy & the bubble tea tapioca was extremely tough. The only edible thing we had was the gyoza & ended up tossing the rest. Definitely not coming back or recommending this teriyaki place any longer. Been patronizing for a couple years now and the new ownership has improved the whole experience. Restaurant is clean, food is hot, fresh, and great flavor. The owner is very accommodating to dietary/food prep requests. Bar far the best choice for teriyaki in the area. My one star review is for the service not the food. Food is always excellent Went in asked what was included in the salmon teriyaki. Was told rice and salmon. Asked if they could add vegetables. She said yes for $3 so I asked for the veggies and no rice. When our food finally came out I got a piece of salmon on top of some raw cabbage and a bunch of rice. When I pointed out that I didn't get the veggies she said that they just put extra cabbage on it. A little bit of conversation and was told that I should have specified what kind of vegetables I wanted. I was never asked about what kind of vegetables I wanted, cabbage was never mentioned when I asked about what was included. Asked to talk to a manager and was told that she was the one there and she was in charge and she was the only person to make any decisions. No apology for (her) miscommunication, just rude. I just feel like the situation could have been handled differently. I'm going to find a different place for teriyaki Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I was wanting to go get some teriyaki and this employee was making out and being very inappropriate with a person who I assume is her bf. I saw her leave to grab food once for somebody but her coworker did all the work while she made out with her bf! Never got my teriyaki I was too weirded out to go inside, this must not be a professional business Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This used to be a great place with quality food. It cost a bit more, but it was worth it. Now the prices have been increased and the food is no longer worth it. The orange chicken is soggy and tastes terrible. The yakisoba is incredibly greasy and tasteless. Very disappointed with the changes.
