This was the worst Asian restaurant that my husband and I have eaten in years. Their ‘Sushi’ are horrible tasting, very small portions sizes too. I was shocked that they were not normal in size compared to EVERY other place we have been to. Rice tasted like instant rice. Their shrimp lo mein had absolutely zero flavor. And it took around 40 minutes to get our food. They were not busy either. Only 4 other tables besides us. Im shocked by the good reviews and that they can stay in business. Stacey was nice, but the food is bland and you don't get a lot for the price we had to pay. My friend got sushi and the rice was dry and it fell apart. And I got the teriyaki chicken and steak... I'm surprised this place is still in business. Our visit was disappointing for several reasons: 1. The staff didn't open the doors until six minutes after the scheduled opening time. 2. The tabletops were sticky. 3. No refills were offered. 4. We waited over 30 minutes for simple rolls. 5. Minimal interaction with staff. We will not be back. We decided to give this place a second chance last night. The first time the food was good but the service was slow. Last night, despite not being very busy, the two servers they had were both complaining under their breath the whole time. We requested a booth and although there were 5-6 booths free, they all had food still on them from the previous customers. The hostess/waitress said she would have to clean one off but never did. She walked by us 3-4 times telling us she hadn’t forgotten about us but never bothered to clean off a table so that we could be seated. We waited about 15 minutes then gave up and left. Noone ever seems to eat in the restaurant. Price point very high for the cut/size of actual fish you get. Variety/Selection of fish is low. Based on lack of volume and selection not sure the fish is as fresh as it could be. Wish they would step up the game. Doesn't feel like they are doing more than coasting to cover costs. Wish we had a quality sushi place in this part of the area. Highly disappointed despite giving try every few months when I don't have time to travel elsewhere.
