2023/08/26: Kuih Bakar Kuala Ina and is not recommended.
Arrived at the place around 11.00am from Kuala Lumpur and the shop was a little tricky to find situated at the rear of a house a few metres from the road. Main access is just a small gate beside a toilet! Was served by a young lady, no greetings and with sour face (muka ketat). Asked about the kuih bakar and the price. Ordered four pieces of kuih bakar and handed her a note of RM100. I was so unlucky that I didn’t have any other small notes. With unfriendly tone and making face, she told me that they didn’t have a small change unless I come at noon. She also talked to her boss lady with a cynical way on me. Goshhhh…what an attitude and unprofessional. So I just cancelled and walked back to my car but I still can hear she talked bad behind me.
Sorry, this was my first and last time to this kuih bakar. NOT RECOMMENDED with bad attitude! Don’t deserve any stars…
I love the kuih bakar! Very fragrant and scrumptious; and still made by hand and cooked using wood stove. Nowhere in Malaysia has the same kuih bakar, and this is the best kuih bakar in Malaysia, no, world!
Selama ni nampak kat TT ingatkan kuih bakar pandan. Sekali bila makan..ehh rasa rempah. Weird at first but makin lama suap masuk mulut eh makin sedap plk. First time tau ada kuih bakar ni lol. Ok lah, fresh and lain dari lain. Ada QR so senang nk bayar cashless.
