We wanted to try Hawaiian food here, since it had good reviews. Their Laulau had chunks of fat inside! We liked the leaf wrap but meats including burger patties here in general were very fatty. Local fish on our plate was very dry and tasteless. Fried rice was the best thing on our plates. Service was good. We won’t recommend the food here. We've dined here 4 times now - its where our local friends took us to eat, we liked it so much we kept coming back. friendly service, reasonable prices and tasty food. The saimin - yum. the broth is very good, and of course they serve with mustard which you can mix in with your soup. The fish we had was cooked right and seasoned well. The lau-lau so yummy. The Kuhio Grill fried rice comes with spam, which we like, and is a very hearty serving. If you want to eat where locals eat, try this spot.
