Really loved the Kuday Turkish Bakery in Patterson. Then again, I often love just a plain stripped-down version of an eating establishment. There were many variety of cookies, and sourdough bread available when I went. There were about eight baklava left, unfortunately, I forgot to get them when I left. I know there's a lot of rave reviews about this specific item. The owner was very friendly and gave us each one of the big cookie samples. I had the apricot which was outstanding. My friend had the blueberry that he also loved. I also purchased a loaf of sourdough bread and I must say it is one of the best I've had. Especially, as a grilled sandwich or in a grilled cheese.
The parking is right in front of the store and there is no designated parking with lines. However, there were not many cars when I went so I was able to unfold my left pretty easily. Again a very small place. Getting to the door was very easy and once inside everything was easy to see and order.
If you are into Turkish coffee like I am they do not have that here. But there are many places within a block or two where you can get some really good Turkish coffee. I ended up in another bakery which I will review in another post which had really good Turkish coffee. In the meantime if you're ever on the Parkway heading north you may want to take exit 155 a to this little hole in the wall with amazing pastries and bread.

Amazing Turkish Bakery. The friendly owner makes this place 5++ stars. I asked him if the cookies and a few of the desserts were good. He gave me a full portion sample to try first. Wow!! Hospitality like this is rare.
Besides the great service, the desserts were tried tasted excellent. Baklava was very good and the cookies was great too. I stored the cookies up to one week and they were still soft when I took a bite into it. Wow!!
Definitely recommend especially if you are waiting for a seat at a nearby restaurant.

Baklava
The best baklava I've ever had. The owner let me taste the various flavors and you can tell he makes his products with so much love and passion. He is a very wonderful man. You definitely have to try this place! Their bread is also 5 stars!
We happened upon this place after dining nearby at albasha and this place is amazing! The gentlemen serving was super warm who gave a sample of anything we could think of. Our little guy was going circles in the place as it hit the spot for him. The Baklava was amazingly fresh and moist and soft and we did load up on it. Also got the kunefa and cookies with some tea. Will be back!
This place feels like home. Such a nice owner, awesome goodies, great choices, warm bread, fresh pastries. We always feel welcomed and valued. Please, give yourself a treat come to eat some cookies

Kanafeh
Saw this across the street as we left Krichian Grill (Armenian restaurant)
Owner was so friendly. I just asked if he had Baklava with Pistachios (I really dislike walnuts which is what most places use) and he immediately gave me a full serving and it was so good! Then he gave me a still warm Hazelnut version (I've never had Baklava with Hazelnut!) and of course I had to buy them both!
He then gave me this thing (forgot name) that was like noodles baked into a dessert, it was tasty but weird for me, as noodles are supposed to be savory LOL
I left with too much desserts! LOL
PS: had already ate a few before I got around to taking a picture of my loot 😉
I'll be back for more soon!
