Did curbside order, and the experience was HORRIBLE! My order was pushed back for delivery, which I usually pick a time for when I'm leaving work, which is 2 minutes away. I live 20 minutes away. I explained to the person that called me that the last time Kroger had the soda sale my order was messed up, had to make several trips cause my order kept getting pushed back but getting "ready text". In the end, I was overcharged almost $25 & didn't get my correct items. The manager said he would fix my overage but never did so, I didn't want to go through that again. He claimed everything would be correct. I received another call about my order pertaining to substitution. I brought up again to PLEASE make sure everything would be correct, including the charging, and I was once again assured everything would be correct. I had to go to my second job by the time the order would be ready, so I sent my daughter but called first asking if everything was correct & was told they didn't have to sub, they found the items I wanted. I received my final bill, which was $74 & some change but should have been $39 & some change. I was charged for the subs and didn't receive the right amount it items. Now, at this point, I'm livid. After speaking to them several times, I'm not understanding HOW everything went wrong. Of course, I called and asked for management, but the young man tried everything to avoid that, but at this point, I'm getting more upset and asked again for management. Once speaking to management and explaining everything, he apologized and offered a gift card for the overcharge. Not being greedy, but after going through all of that, I should have been offered the gift card and the refund of my overcharge, especially being the second time this happened. After speaking to others who took advantage of the soda offer, I wasn't the only person who experienced a problem. I enjoy the deals they offer & mistakes happens but they need to work on doing better to keep the customers happy & returning. Price per person $30–50 Service: 1
