I learned that the new Hershey's chocolate collection came out today and was excited to try their donut collaboration. I went in at 12:30 and bought two donuts. They weren't hot or even fresh. They were the equivalent of any cold donuts you could buy anywhere else. I took them home and microwaved them. That didn't help with the flavor profile very much. I could have bought a donut and placed a fresh baked brownie on it and it would have been far better. Save your money. It wasn't worth the 500 calories. Approached by an employee from the counter asked about the hot donuts (RED SIGN WAS ON). Was getting an order of donuts and she came across quite agitated. Then we said we wanted to add the warm glazed doughnuts. She became more agitated and said it would be a while. And began helping another customer. We left without our order. As we were leaving the youngest person in the car mentioned how the racism from her was so apparent. I went into the Krispy Kreme on tonight and the lady in the front did not show me any type of good service at all. I told her if I had to wait for fresh donuts then I would and that there would be no issue. She goes on to say this is all we have even though fresh donuts were being made in the back. I received the donuts and they were cold and hard and I told her I could not take these to someone as a gift. She was not kind at all and proceeded to say “you’ll have to wait so gone and have a seat” I was waiting and another lady came from the back saying she has other stuff to do and didn’t want to make anymore. This is lazy and very unprofessional. I guess I have to go during the morning crew because they are always nice and I never have a problem. Twice this week we have tried to get our family doughnuts. Each time we were met with rude employees, nothing is ever available other than the original. We have tried going in and the drive through. My partner bit into her donut and said something was hard. Then she proceeded to pull a shard of glass out of the donut. I called Krispy Kreme, told an employee to relay a message about the glass, and the employee told me that sometimes glass gets into the donuts. How has this not been fully addressed? I ordered at the drive thru and I was rushed. The doughnuts taste better via "door dash delivery" and I was disappointed. But I reheated them later and they were ok. Oh I got the Biscoff doughnuts...my 1st time trying and just may try them again. The strawberry "slush" was good. Thanks. The only thing i ever knew about Krispy Kreme donuts was from the grocery store. Until this trip. We were away a red light when my friend got all excited about THE HOT LIGHT IS ON! I had no idea what she was talking about until i saw the HOT light lit on the sign. It means the donuts are HOT (EXTREMELY). We went thru the drive thru and was told that they had just dropped them in the cooker and would be ready in 12 mins. And if the wait would have been 30 mins we would have been glad to wait. Awesome experience. Everyone was helpful. The cashier helped me out with choosing different varieties for the amount of boxes I was getting. 5 star service with 5 star taste to match.
