The best dosas (South Indian) I had in Sweden! Its thin and crispy and just excellent. The staff who was cooking and serving are super friendly and nice. Highly recommend! The Dosas here are 😍😍😍. My favorite so far is the Masala Dosa! I also tried the Onion Uthappam which was yummy, the Parota which was delicious, Chicken 65 which was really good and the Beef Pepper Fry which was goood! These items were also all Halal! Not to forget the Masala Chai which was ❤️ I will return to try more items. Note: The place is rather small, we were about 9 people and had to combine 3 tables in the limited space, which made it rather congested. The restaurant is also not open during lunch, which is a pity!! I ordered a delivery via Foodora. I can't give them less than 1 star unfortunately. The food was just edible, it had no flavour and taste. As an Indian who loves south Indian cuisine, i am disappointed. The sambar I received was full of water, no salt, no spice flavours, dull yellow in colour. The chutneys were also toned down completely. I visited The South Indian Göteborg in person and received correct flavour levels. I won't try them again but if you want to try, don't order delivery. This is the place to have a best south indian food. Highly recommended for children’s, friends and families. I ordered the famous Madurai Karidosa here and exactly had the same taste. Do visit for the awesome food Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 300–400

Real and authentic South Indian food now in Hisingen. We had ghee and special dosas, along with tamil style sambhar and fresh chutney; chettinad chicken curry and lamb curry with a very sensible option of swapping the rice for porotta 🤓; and the highlight of my evening - tawa fried whole fish 🐠. That was the best fish I had in the whole of Gothenburg, nothing beats it! Would definitely come back to try the beef pepper fry 😍 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 100–200

Arguably the best South Indian cuisine in Gothenburg. The menu is varied and gives those options which you wouldn't find in other Indian restaurants like Parotta and Beef Fry, Egg Masala and Fish Tawa Fry. Sometimes you find the best times in the smallest of places. Me and my friend had a great time here with AR rehman music in Tamil, we just couldn’t stop singing. I was so happy to eat some great kerala biryani. Other dishes were vada and pepper chicken. Unlike other Indian restaurants, this feels closer to india.
