Food is ok when you get what you actually ordered. Service is not attentive or knowledgeable. Put wrong food in front of people and told them it was something different, including gluten free. Staff clearly needs much better training. Or perhaps different staff. Was almost pushed out the door 20 min before closing. Less than impressed. Service and atmosphere were fine. Sushi tasted like the fish went bad and turned us off sushi for almost a year because it was so bad. Would not recommend eating here. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Was hoping for an authentic asian cuisine taste like what I would get in Chinatown... I got siomai, beef, chicken fried rice and vegetable roll. Nice ambiance and set up however not the intensity of flavor I'm looking for. I like the vegetable spring roll and its sweet sauce tho. :) Also, I hope they just said the real waiting time so I can do other stuff close by and just come back to pick it up. 10minute wait became 25 sitting in the car. You can't go wrong with this vegetarian option. I've had The Green Salad a number of times, always fresh, and even for take-out orders it is quite a large portion that could be split up for 3 persons and the price is perfect under $10. It comes with 2 small containers of ginger dressing which is a refreshing flavor apart from your traditional American salad dressings. On this take-out order I also had Miso soup and spring rolls and were a delicious combination that I highly recommend to warm you up on cold evenings. I will be coming back to try other dishes. Changed my rating to from 5 to 4 stars. As a recurring customer I still love this restaurant, but I do acknowledge they have some issues. Some dishes are wonderful and some are just ok. The thing is even the best dishes are not always the same (you can come and have a very good dish, and a week after have a really different experience from the same dish). Here and there they may accidentally change your order and bring you something else, but again, it's a good restaurant with good food and excellent service - so I do recommend. Old post: Amazing food, great service, can be very noisy but good atmosphire.

First, all of the food was ready super quick, in about four minutes. Chinese/Asian food often takes quite a while and the restaurant was really busy at the time, and that to me suggests that most of the food was not freshly cooked. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, perhaps try the neighbouring Peppercorns Kitchen or Shang’s Noodle. This place offers authentic options but they aren’t made close to authentic. They add unnecessary vegetables in your food, especially onions (which should not be part of authentic dishes). In one of the dishes I ordered, the Twice Cooked Pork, the meat to onion ratio was almost 1 to 1. Similarly, in the other dish, that we ordered, there was an overwhelming number of green peppers compared to the meat in the dish, and these peppers are not used in authentic Chinese food as well. These are just two examples. Despite the inauthentic food, the restaurant offered a pretty good atmosphere. Personally I like how the lights are dimmer, and the tables are spread out generally far apart enough. The service is okay; the hosts went to look for a table for us and then kind of forgot about us, and it wasn’t until we went and talked to them again that they remembered we were waiting for a table. Generally, I would not recommend this restaurant, and think that the alternatives on the same street are more authentic and better in quality. I visited Koi on Sunday with a large group. They made us wait 45 minutes to give us a large table when it was completely empty. After that there were two people serving us who refused to let us pay as separate tables, even though we were 20 people, on two separate tables. The food was only average and they also forgot a few things in our order. The service was disorganized and slow, even though there was nobody there. I would not go back there especially with the big group. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Great food and service. 8 regions of Chinese cuisine. The wings to start were amazing as were the dumplings. The mains were also pretty amazing. Chinese fried rice, Cumin lamb, Ma po tofu with pork, Dover sole with broccoli and seafood combination. Everything was fresh and very flavorful. John are waiter was super helpful. Will be back.
We ordered four Chinese dishes, and they were not good at all. Very bland, wrong use of spices and sauces. The environment was great, but couldn’t enjoy my food because it just wasn’t good at all. Tasted like microwave Panda Express. Would not recommend for anyone that wants actual Asian cuisine. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50
This restaurant has become fraudulent. I have ordered food from here two nights in a row, and they have cancelled my order both times, citing the fact they "didn't receive my order" even though they somehow got my contact information. Before I could clarify, they closed the restaurant and became unavailable to handle my situation with grace. I am fed up with this kind of behavior. It is truly a shame because I ordered a lot from here in the past and they were great. I really wonder what happened? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
