Had the pleasure to indulge for lunch at this restaurant. Overall, good experience. Food was good while the service was exceptional. We were still pretty filled up but wanted to have some food before our dinner appointment. Dropped in and they had a table adequate for me and my entourage. We were ushered to the table by smiling folks. Ordered a set meal which was really worthy. Portions were large. We ordered a side of pai tee as well as the nyonya noodles. The former was good while the later is a miss. Dessets have to be cendol. It has really fragrant santan while gula melaka was not as fragrant as the other store which we frequent. But the cendol itself is really nice and fat hence gives one a bit of chew. I would recommend this place if eager for a nyonya meal. First time trying out nonya peranakan food and I've to be honest. I was surprised with the pleasures that lingered in my mouth. The asam fish, in my opinion was the best asam fish I had in my whole melaka experience. Sambal prawns with stinkbeans, it had a strong pungency taste from the shrimp paste which surprisingly was not overwhelming for me. Not a fan of shrimp paste. Chicken cooked with buak keluak, first time tasting this dish. It was unique and flavourful. It was a kind gesture from a lady working in the restaurant to come and explain to us the process of cooking it. We are grateful for the knowledge. Prawn omelette - it is what it is... Can't go wrong there. Otah otah, delicious. Fried squid, a little too much batter but it was good enough. All the seafood tasted fresh, but kuddos to the chefs and service staff. The food and atmosphere was indeed one to remember for a very long time. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Ayam Pongteh
Highly recommended to this restaurant for the ones who like Peranakan food. We ordered 2pax set and it makes 3 people full since the portion is generous. Food is super delicious and Chendol is a must to try. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Ayam Pongteh

The lady boss was very welcoming, and helped to customize their set meal for us. The price was also good, at RM88 for 5 dishes (for 2 pax). I didn't have much experience with Nonya Cusine, but the flavors were intense and enjoyable 😄 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Authentic Nonya Peranakan food in Melaka, quality is good but not spectacular. Portions are rather small so order more if sharing. The chicken is good but more bones than meat. Chap chye is ok, flavourful. The ngoh hiang is not bad, crispy skin outside and soft fillings inside. The beancurd was simple but well accentuated by the generous onion shreds and dark soy sauce, very appetizing. Kueh Pie Ti was ok, the generous chilli on top was slightly overwhelming. Overall great service and cosy restaurant, might come again if in the area! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Ayam Pongteh

One of our favourite nyonya food place. Pork and lard free and meat sourced from halal suppliers. Gula melaka in the cendol Is sublime! So sedap! Also loved the udang masak lomak nenas, fried sotong ( nice crispy batter, and not so oily too), omelette cincalok was nice and fluffy. My daughter also particularly loved the Ayam pongteh. We were so hungry we did not take any photos of our food until dessert.:) we’re happy they’ve reopened post pandemic. We search and visited this Nonya Food through online good reviews, it's a along a quiet street, need to look closely otherwise you could have miss it. We settle down and ordered Nonya Chap Cai, Ayam Buah Keluak and Sambal Petai Udang, personally I only like the Chap Cai, the Sambal Petai Udang n Ayam Buah Keluak is a little too salty to my liking, however the serving is quite generous so if you like it savory, you might like it.
