Hidden gem, we had some very delicious vegetarian food here. It's literally hidden, there's no sign outside, you won't see the restaurant until you walk inside. Simple, basic atmosphere and very friendly service. Food was a little spicy, which we loved. Highly recommended, would definitely go again! Price per person KES 1–500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Very good place for Ethiopian Food 😍 Even had a refill of Shiro for our Injera. (ordered fully vegetarian)

Restaurant name is painted over when we went to find out so it's not immediately obvious that it's there. Serves only Ethiopian cuisine so it helps if you know what you want beforehand especially because there's no menu you can look at. The guy serving was helpful and answered our questions as we decided what to eat though it was a bit of a struggle understanding each other. Overal, food was pretty good, reasonably priced. Would recommend. 👍 Editing a year later to add a photo I just took. Still highly recommended! 😄 Ps: I dunno the name of the meal but that's 3 meals on one plate. Show the attending person this pic they'll know immediately. 🙂

Food is excellent. Have ordered delivery plus went in person another time. Delivery worked after a bit of confusion. Service was ok but no napkins on the tables. The premises though is very grubby and run down. Needs ukarabati kidogo.(renovation. At least paint and renewed table cloths etc.) But because of the great tasting food will go again. You can find Habesha food. The place is a bit hard to find. Their hospitality is good. The waiter was very humble and caring. They need to improve on the quality, neatness, type and variety of food they have.

Great place. Best shiro and goat stew. Don't forget to order Ethiopian coffee. Just great . Thanks guys.
We really like this place. Food is delicious. All is good, but we want more sauce in injera:)
If you miss injera or shiro or doro wot it is the best adress in Mombasa to enjoy real ethiopian food. Amasegenalew
