Imagine stepping into a grocery store that's like a mini metropolis: aisles bustling with life, a Starbucks oasis in the midst of chaos, and a cornucopia of items from A to Zucchini. Welcome to King Soopers Southside, where the quest for groceries feels like a safari in the urban jungle. Upon entry, you're greeted by a symphony of beeps, chatter, and the enticing aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The produce section is a kaleidoscope of colors, where veggies and fruits are piled high like skyscrapers. The bread aisle seems to stretch into infinity, each loaf vying for your attention like a chorus line. The store’s layout is akin to a treasure map, with X marking the spot for organic kale or artisanal cheese. You'll need your compass, or at least a very patient store assistant, to navigate through this labyrinth. Beware the peak hours! It's like rush hour in downtown: carts clash like bumper cars, and the checkout line snakes longer than the Great Wall of China. Yet, there's a peculiar camaraderie in the air, as everyone shares the same mission: to conquer their shopping list. In the eye of this storm, the Starbucks corner is a serene haven. Here, over-caffeinated souls find solace in their lattes and momentarily escape the madness. Finally, as you triumphantly make your way to the checkout, you can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. You've not just shopped; you've embarked on an epic adventure. King Soopers Southside is where convenience meets chaos, variety meets vexation, and where every visit guarantees a story to tell. It's not just a store; it's an experience, complete with a caffeine kick!
Don't trust the pricing. As a teacher on a budget it is disheartening to choose an item that is "on sale" only to find that it was labeled incorrectly, or doesn't ring up correctly. This has happened repeatedly. The worst part is the attitude you get when you bring up the discrepancies. I have been a loyal customer for years, but it may be time to try another supermarket.

Super fun store to shop at. Always an adventure. Love the floors, seems like half way threw remodeling they ran out of funds or the contractors quit. Two inch deep holes all over. Love Love Love the fabulous floral department. The orchids are to die for. Thank you for a great adventure while shopping!

Update: This store has gone downhill. Poor customer service, long lines even to checkout my own items. Can't stand self checkout btw. Should put NFC tags on all of the products and charge credits upon exiting the store. I know Kroger has a low profit margin (2.9% last I checked), but it's time to figure something out. I get better service in the inner city on the east coast. Now that is pathetic. You lost a customer. Rather shop at Wal-Mart where I know it's self service. Prices reflect that though. Let me know when you remember where your $$ comes from.. ***************** Great selection for Pueblo, which doesn't have options one might have in a larger, more affluent city. The store has been remodeled a bit. Not sure if they plan on doing more renovations. Gary F. was very friendly the last time I was there.

No customer service, dirty store, dirty register readers, can't get help they're too busy talking to each other. Ask for help for another customer who had been waiting for a very long time to get someone to come over and help them, the fifth person came over and told me not to take their picture. Wouldn't recommend the store. management needs to step in, oh maybe they were the management. Go somewhere else not here. Groceries cost a lot of money the least you can expect is some customer service. I guess going on strikes helps them be able to do nothing.
First off, I like this King Soopers for the gas pumps in the southwest corner of the parking lots. This 'Soops is much different from the 29th ST store, it's newer, more modern looking. I kinda like the old skool charm of the 29th ST location though, don't get me wrong. Neither of them will hire me for some reason... jerks! Lol JK. I prefer shooping at King Soopers for the deals that they have constantly revolving. It gets me to sometimes try a different brand that otherwise, I would've paid no mind. The mobile app for phones is pretty sweet as far as deals, but, it's sort of inconvenient and kind of discriminatory to the technologically illiterate, I feel. Poor old timers... I feel like there should be an age or certain situations that would exempt a customer and they can still get the digital deal too. But that has nothing to do with this specific location. Yeah. 😁

The pharmacy is awful here. They never have anything ready for days after the prescription is sent in and wait until you're physically there to let you know. They never update their text alerts either. The staff is always rude or clueless. This King Soopers also never has anything in stock.

Couldn't find many items I wanted/needed. Couldn't find any staff to help me. No ice available. Prices were way too high on everything (probably not all your doing)!! No handicap parking available. Out side of these things, all good 🤪.
I am super glad this store is close by. They have organic produce and other organic options we like. If you're a Starbucks fan there is one located near the produce. The baked goods selection is ok. Nothing special. I do wish they had Turkey legs and whole fish here, but I'm still happy with most of what they have. Also their simple truth organic seltzer water is really good! I'd go just for that. Lines usually arent bad here since they have quite a few self check outs.
