A river side restaurant mid-way between Bangkok and Huai Kha Khaeng Sanctuary. Lovely ambience and great food. My colleague has been visiting this place since almost 3 decades and he loves this place! Being vegetarian, I was glad to see vegetarian options! Loved the vegetarian soup...

Nice river view but the taste of foods is normal, don’t expect for food taste; however, quality of foods is good, fresh. Recommend to order fish or something locals not a seafood or shrimp. Price is normal standard compared to other local restaurants around there.
My opinion
Reasonable price and delicious food. Great view of Chaopraya river during enjoy a meal.
Location: Close to Chaophaya river and the end of road. Takes 5mins from AH1 road, near Uthaithanee.
Atmosphere: casual style of real local restaurant which has a fabulous view of curved Chaopraya River.
Menu:
- Main Dish: a la carte of Freshwater fish or shrimp.

My favourite dish:
- Tom yum pla Ma* (freshwater fish in mild spicy soup with Thai herbs)
- Pla Luung* tod kra tiam (deep fried freshwater fish with garlic & Nam pla)
- Kung mae nam phao (grilled freshwater shrime served with spicy sauce)

My favorite restaurant when travelling north. This riverside restaurant is good for river fish and prawn. Price is reasonable. Fish is fresh.
They have giant river prawn at 1,100 baht per kilo at the size of around 200 gram each. Good value. Recommend Pla Rad Tod Kratiem (river fish deep fried with garlic). Tom Yum is also good.
