My porch chops were a little then but the steak surprised me with its flavor and size, the sides were good and it's a very nice change from fast food. If you haven't eaten here and just want a little taste of country cooking you should give it a try,.. It's under new management and new owner ship and I have to say it is an improvement. Thanks Kelly who checked us out and cared enough to ask how it was,. Busy- busy -busy! just as soon as someone left, someone else was seated. Staff was exceptionally nice and the place held a family atmosphere. Not a quiet place for sure, but not exceedingly loud. The best breakfast we have had in a LONG long time! A real, down home, country, meat & 3, local restaurant! This place is GREAT! When we seen pickup trucks & police cars in the parking lot, we knew it was gonna be good! Grits perfect, biscuits are INNNNCREDIBLE, everything was amazing. Been a minute or two since eating at Kellie’s but I now remember why folks speak so highly of this diner. Today for lunch I had Tuesday’s special of Chicken Livers, Beets and Sweet Potato Soufflé. Great social distancing, awesome staff and very fair prices. And oh, did I mention GREAT chicken livers. If you have not tried Kellie’s, be sure to check it out.
