In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around Garibaldi Museum, stop by this bar. Kelley's Place offers you perfectly cooked mussels, clam chowder and fish & chips. Good beer is worth trying here. A lot of reviewers find that you can have great coffee at this place. There is a lovely view from this spot. The staff is said to be knowledgeable here. A little hard to find. You need to go down 7nt toward the RV park, then this place is nestled in the back of the park. I felt like I was at a family reunion of someone else's family. Everyone knew each other and were chatting with each other. The chowder was some of the best I have had. Amazing and homemade. Fun hole in the wall place to get food. Please note they are cash only. The best service we have had in a very long time. We walked in as a party of 11, and they set up a spot for us all to ourselves in the back area. From order to table; 15 min tops. Everything was delicious, the bill was more than reasonable, and our waitness was super sweet. Thanks so much for the great experience. We ordered 3 full orders of biscuits and gravy the menu clearly states you get bacon and eggs with it or you can get a single sausage patty with your order, we didn’t get any of that. there was hardly any gravy to cover the biscuits, there was foil strips embedded in my gravy as you can see from the pictures the gravy was dried up from the biscuits. We haven’t tried everything on the menu but I know I personally would ABSOLUTELY NOT ORDER BISCUITS AND GRAVY AT THIS PLACE. My husband & I went for dinner and a drink. The friendly waitress immediately greeted us and got our drink order. She brought our drinks and took our food order. My husband had the prime rib, garlic toast, salad, and loaded baked potato. I ordered the clam chowder bowl w garlic toast and loaded potato after seeing my husband's lol. Our food came quickly. It was fresh, hot and tasted great! We are locals, and this is the best place for prime rib and at a fantastic price!!! I think the clam chowder is the best around!!! And Taco Tuesdays are pretty yummy too!!! We really love stopping by for an ice-cold beer in the summertime while sitting out in the back patio area overlooking the bay. Great place!!! A little hard to find, but well worth it! The food is excellent and everyone is super friendly. The fish sandwich is outstanding. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu! One of my new favorite places. This place is chock full of character. I arrived a little before opening. At 11:00 a.m. I walked up to the door, I was passed by a local who removed the sign blocking door. I took that as a cue to go in as well. The locals continued to trickle in the entire time I was there. The food was excellent. The chowder was amazing. I had the daily special, a fried cod sandwich with potato salad. The sandwich was a thin slice of Cod fried very crisp. Delicious. You can sit outside as well with a great view of the Bay. Kelley, the owner, was top notch remembering all of the locals drinks and handing them out as they sat down. If you're in the area don't hesitate to go here, enjoy the view, and maybe if you're lucky, a conversation with a local.

Not the most obvious place off of the 101 and you have to go down a cruddy little road, it's worth it. The chowder is very good and thick, like it should be. The fried clams are thick and good, not overly chewy.. The French dip was amazing. So many choices in the menu look good. It might not be the fanciest place but certainly worth stopping and enjoying the food and views and friendly staff.

Giant wood structure that created a nice sea-like ambiance - views of a bay inlet from big windows. Bar circled by tables. Bright with plants. Our food was really good - high quality greens - a classic club. They had a nice array of seasonal drinks - our spicy bloody marys were delicious. It was clearly a locals favorite but they were nice to us as tourists and even gave me a delicious shot because it was my birthday. It's your typical bar. I went in hoping for breakfast one Sunday. It stops at 11am. Had a BLT. Fries were crispy. It was fast service, not super friendly but not rude. Odd ambience. Loud patrons for early crowd. They did have video lottery but not many machines in a crowded back room. Overall, lack luster experience. I am glad I checked them out but I probably won't be back. Place was cash only when I went. No children allowed. LOTS of potholes in the gravel drive up. Love the local atmosphere, it feels very nice and local. The employees are very friendly and nice. It's cash only (and you're well informed of such). I ordered a burger and fries, it was pretty standard for what you'd expect. The best part is the experience and atmosphere.
