About
That's a nice idea to order tasty hamburgers, chicken tenders and fried fish. The chef at this bar cooks good potato waffles, beignets and cheesecakes. Delicious draft beer, craft beer or wine are worth trying here. When coming to Keg and Barrel, order great coffee. The cosy atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a good time. A number of guests suppose that the staff is terrific at this place. Fine service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this spot. You will appreciate democratic prices. The cute decor is a significant advantage. As for the Google rating, this bar achieved 4.6.

We walked in right after opening baseball weekend at Southern Miss and were able to get a table. We first sat outside (with some overhead heaters). We then moved inside to have dinner. There are multiple seating options in this old house adding to the vibe. The food was good (especially the fried pimiento cheese--don't tell my mom!). The patrons when I was there (before 8 pm) seemed to be a mix of Southern Miss grads and families. I would definitely look at other options before coming back here to get a sense of what is out here in my first visit to the area, but I would not hesitate to come back :) Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Located inside the house that's been turned into a restaurant. They did a really great job with the inside and the outside is probably where all the action is during the spring and summers. Huge screen like a football stadium outside with picnic tables and outside games to be played. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I found this place while on a road trip back to Dallas and it is such a gem. The space is huge but the servers are really attentive and the old house setting gives it a great vibe. They have an extensive beer list from all over the south and the food is delicious. And they are super dog friendly! Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We were a party of 4, as it was a beautiful day we chose to dine outside. Enjoyed several appetizers before our entree's. We ate way too much, couldn't finish the main meal. The only downside was the TV's blaring football which nobody seemed to be interested in. If you're hungry bring your hollow leg here. Attentive wait staff. Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Ahi Tuna
This place greatly exceeded my expectations. This was my first time going, and I thought it was just a place for people to drink beer and listen to music, but the food is beyond exceptional. I ordered the red fish, which came with a side of grits and summer squash. The fish was purely immaculate. Cooked and seasoned just right. The grits were exceptional as well. They were very savory and had a nice cheesy taste. The squash was a nice addition to the meal. I think 16 dollars is fair for that quality of food. I also ordered a separate side of fries, and good googly moogly were they yummy. Imagine fries you get a restaurant, and now imagine them even better, and now you have Keg & Barrel’s fries. I think it’s also worth mentioning that the atmosphere is awesome! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food was pretty good. We went there for lunch. Was a pretty average bar and grill. Good food, good atmosphere. No complaints. Would go again. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Hamburger with Fries

We were visiting from out of state and this was our first visit to Keg & Barrel. We sat outside on the porch and it was very comfortable in the shade. Several TVs and a jumbotron were showing sports, but from where we sat it was peaceful and the sound was not obtrusive. Service was excellent and our server even gave us good suggestions for places to visit in Hattiesburg. Our burgers and fries were delicious, the iced tea was cold and refills kept coming. We have this restaurant marked on our GPS so we can visit again on our next trip through Mississippi. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good place for groups and to eat outdoors. Friendly service with a variety of foods options. Pizza was pretty good but next time I’ll come and try their chicken sandwich.
