Don’t be put off by appearance!! The building and upkeep may be a little shabby but the food is amazing!! I got the chicken plate. The chicken was tender and spicy and the rice had perfect subtle flavor. Will definitely come again!

Had heard on Reddit that they had the best milkshakes in Bangor. Only saw smoothies at first so I ordered that. The lamb was god tasting, the sides were average. It took a long time to prepare. Like 20 minutes or more. Then our smoothies didn't come out for another ten minutes. They were barely cold. Almost room temperature. I did eventually see a very faded sign with shakes listed. If I'm over that way again I might try just a shake. Also quite expensive for what you get. The man running it was super nice. Wonderful first time eating here. I am unfamiliar with this style of food and wanted to give it a try while in the area. Service was excellent as the man explained what the food was.
