Great place to stop in. We bought some breakfast sandwiches, donuts and pastries this morning. First, everything was good, the donuts were awesome. A quick lock and you can see they make their own donuts. The donut machine is pretty much in view when you’re checking out. Last year around this time they were pending opening. This year I can say while on vacation, the dints are real good, the peanut butter donut was great, ask to have it separate from anything else, the flavor is overpowering should it touch smother donut. We stopped in for breakfast sandwiches on our way home from a ski weekend. All four of our sandwiches were excellent, among the best we’ve ever had. They took a little time to make by the owner/chef/baker, but were worth the wait. Other sweet stuff on display looked good, too, but I can only speak to the delicious breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely go back if i’m the area again.

Oh my gosh!!! Absolutely amazing, I can not even express how fresh her pastries are. We had her cheese lasagna for supper tonight and it was amazing.
And we're already making a trip back toMorrow. I promise you if you go there you will not regret it!! Ty for all the love u put into baking!!

Katherine's Bakery Cafe was my first time visiting. I live locally, and heard a lot of buzz for my little community and on Facebook. I decided to choose a pistachio nut muffin they were still warm. I sat outside for a bit and noticed they do a lot of takeout. There were a few people inside at the counter and two couples at the tables. I especially liked breakfast being served all day. I found my muffin to be moist and full of flavor. I would suggest stopping in for yourself.

A local bakery with fresh made pastries from small to big cakes. A wonderful selection of egg as well regular lunch sandwiches. Good selection of drinks to choose from as well as fresh coffee made every day. Check their lunch specials during the summer days--they are made fresh every day. You can order any dessert and they will make it fresh for you. They also make their own ice cream--don't forget to try their oreo cookie flying saucer or any special ice cream they might have available for the day. Wide variety of milkshakes available. Service is also great--staff is attentive, friendly & can accommodate any special request you might have. Plenty of seating available to dine indoors as well as outdoors. Parking lot available as well as ramp for wheelchair accessibility. A gem in Norway. 5 Stars.

Massive whoopie pies, tons of different pastries. Today we went for the breakfast sandwiches and a donut. The eggs were cooked to perfection, I almost forgot to chew. The donut was also super fresh and tasty. Gutta try the bronut soon... Brownie donut???! Definitely worth stopping by.
I tried the breakfast sandwiches and some pastries and they were good so I decided to make an order for a cheesecake and apple pie for my birthday. That was a mistake. I've been hesitant about making a "bad" review but my brother is getting a store bought cake for his birthday (like I usually do) and I know it'll be 10 times better. The cheesecake was overcooked, it made the crust taste burnt and I asked for a strawberry topping and there was a very very generous amount which personally isn't my thing but my BF said it tasted fine. And with the apple pie, it tasted so strongly of raw cinnamon that I spit it out. I don't want to be mean but my family threw away most of what we got because it all was just not it.
Honestly shocked to see mixed reviews. We've been in a dozen or more times and Katherine's never misses. We also bring family from all over and they always agree it's a fantastic spot, particularly for Maine classics. Know what kind of bakery you're going to, I guess.
Sometimes the teenagers working aren't the MOST welcoming, but if you're docking points from a small business for that, you're a weirdo.

Absolutely the best bakery/cafe I have ever been to, "The Norway" and "The Bethel" are my absolute favorite Sandwiches and you definitely get your moneys worth on top of that I've never tasted a better selection of pastries in my life!
