Red menus for tourists. Blue for locals. Tourist prices 25-50% more. When confronted they said they just opened and want to give locals discount to attract them in. According to past reviews, they’ve been open for a while and the mention of two menus has been brought up 10 months ago. So they are clearly dishonest. The photo below is from the blue menu.
AVOID this place. I am posting a picture of the guy (might even be the owner) who is a 100 per cent scammer.
Charged astonishingly high for a small cup of coffee -ofcourse no price was mentioned in the menu. And by the time we asked for the price he had already made the coffee. When we asked him how is a cut of 3 in 1 coffee so high, he said, its because of the machine. We left without having the coffee and paying the scam price. Always hate tourist traps and thisbis one of them. They also have different menus for tourists vs locals

Quiet little local café outside of Khiva’s inner city. Standard foods and drinks as you can find elsewhere in town - however the calm atmosphere next to this large park makes it a nice spot to take a break between visits.
You can use a board lf Checkers and play under the sun - some benches offer welcoming shade.
Nice restaurant located in a quiet park outside of the old town. Apart from the traditional shashlik, soups and plov they also serve pizza (it was unexpectedly good) and hot dog. Kind staff but no english speaking. I think this was the best meal we had in Khiva.
Lawash z serem mocno średni w smaku, mięso niedoprawione. Fresh salad składała się tylko z pomidorów i cebuli, mimo że na obrazku w menu wygląda bardziej kolorowo.
