As others have said, a really unexpected place, located in the main tourist shop centre. It's opposite the Stationen, a much larger place, and both are worth a look for different reasons, but we chose here and it was very good. Local Svalbard beers on tap (as they are in pretty much every bar in town!), plus some guest cans in the fridge. Great decor of mining and even a mining truck full of coal as a table! The collection of spirits is amazing, it must be said, with huge lists of whisky, rum, akavit and pretty much anything else on offer. It also seemed to be full of locals, which is a really good thing to see. Liked it here, I'd definitely put it to the top of the list of bars to visit here.
To be honest, one of the best bars I've ever visited. The atmosphere is incredible and they have everything you wish. Also the barman is very interesting, kind and he knows a lot about his job. If you came to Longyearbyen, you definitely have to visit this fantastic place. To summarize: breathtaking!

Place you would not expect to exist in such a remote place on earth and yet providing you with extremely cosy atmoshphere. It's a must visit spot while you there!
A fun pub with plenty of drinks and a great place to meet people when hanging around Svalbard. Definitely recommend it

Great Service, friendly staff, wide range of drinks with smoothing interrior at such a northernmost part of the world!!
Definitely make a visit during your stay in Svalbard.
