Food was good, service was good, cleanliness was bad. The entire time we were there, the employees sat at the bar playing on their phones, meanwhile tables sat for the entire length of our stay with bowls of food and plates sitting out, and nobody would bus the tables. Went for my girlfriend's birthday. The food was outstanding, our chef was really fun and funny. And the atmosphere was high energy, really enjoyable experience. I very much enjoy the atmosphere and food of Kanji. Prices are comparable to any other Japanese steakhouse I've been to. It can definitely be on the pricier side, but you're paying for the experience. If you're able to go during lunch hours, it does make it a bit less expensive. Our service has always been good, and the cooks have always been entertaining and have great interaction with our kids. I've never had any issues with the cook on my food, either.
