I came here for the first time and I was not disappointed at all. I had their sashimi platter, and it was beautifully plated. Sushi pieces were smaller than most. It doesn't come with soup, salad, or rice. If they included these , then it'll be perfect. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Best nigiri I have ever eaten. The fish literally melts in your mouth. The portions were a bit small and we left hungry with spending about $25 per person, but the quality and freshness made it worth it. Staff was very attentive and service was excellent. Would be perfect for date nights or small groups. Definitely will be back! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nigiri

Great cozy spot for sushi. They really do care for their work and business. Had an off menu chirashi Don. Uni was fresh and creamy Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We ordered take out last night and we were so disappointed at the size of the sushi. We ordered a California roll and there was barely any crab inside, mostly avocado. We paid $60 for 3 items on the menu and the portions were soooo small I was on shock. We we’re still hungry after that. The rolls were smaller than the ones you get from Safeway. An absurd! Plus, the rolls didn’t have much flavor. Such a bummer Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 2
I love the Wagyu Beef Roll! My husband, daughter and I love to come to this restaurant. The chef is super friendly to us and very accommodating. We try to eat here once a week and never get less in quality. I totally recommend this place for families. We usually get the Saba fish, and the meat roll. Also, the salmon teriyaki is delicious (that’s what our 5-year old eats). Overall it’s worth the time and price. We recommend it. Nice cosy little Shushi restaurant. The lady is very nice and obviously know the menu well. Wasn't hungry at all, she recommended the chef special Shushi, delicious. We have extra Sashimi too. Last meal before flying out San Francisco. Good choice and recommended.

Probably the worst japanese food ever had in bay area. The sushi rolls tasted like they bought them from safeway.. sad, tiny with overly sweet and mushy rice. Japanese curry was blend and watery with small pieces of raw potato (unpeeled!) and carrots… yuk! Service Delivery Meal type Dinner
3.6 stars (I wanted to round up to 4 since I didn't want to hurt a small business) Great but overpriced sushi. Pretty disappointing experience... I stopped by this restaurant before my flight as I was craving some sushi and this place had good reviews. I had nigiri combo(which is not in the menu, you need to ask for it), sashimi deluxe half order and their combo dessert. For sashimi deluxe, while the fish was diverse and delicious (as you can see in the pictures) I didn't like the sauce they used for some of them. Nigiri combo was very good. Dessert was very good (though overpriced as well). Overall the environment/restaurant was very clean and nice. The music was too loud. They use the sushi bar spot for takeout orders, which tells me they have more takeout orders than omakase customers. TLDR; I won't be back but it's definitely not a bad restaurant. There are just much better sushi restaurants out there. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
