I knew this place for at least a decade, but havent visited it much last years. This time we came for a coffee and a dessert. Nothing changed: the interior is the same as before, and so is the menu. The place is very casual and cozy with nice antique furniture, comfortable tables outside on the street. We ordered some coffees and cakes and sat outside. It was a pleasant evening. The staff is friendly and polite but perhaps little disorganized. Also I noticed that the prices increased, 50 sek for a slice of cake felt too much for this place (even taking into account the inflation).
Overall a positive experience!

After the place recently changed owners I experience that the service and quality of what is being delivered has been decreasing, at the same time that prices have increased.
For example, when you come in the employees sit at a table and converse or are using their phones. Feels very unprofessional. Even behind the cash register they seem unmotivated to be there. Saying neither hello or goodbye to the customers.
What a shame.
Old review:
Always a friendly staff working. Reasonable prices for most things, they also offer the cheapest coffee and tea in town. The old building and furniture gives you a very cosy atmosphere.
Cozy cafe with salads, sandwiches, baked potato dishes along g with icecream and coffee. The prices were great and the location can't be beat. You can sit inside or outside on their patio weather permitting.
