I gotta tell you, on 2,9& 10th I'm seriously pissed off with my experience at that kako. On day one, they wouldn't let my partner in 'cause he was wearing black pants. Like, what kind of bar doesn't allow pants? So we got the hell out of there.
Day two. I had my crossbody bag with me, y'know, 'cause I'm a tourist and have important documents. But main Security tells me "they don't let men with bags in, hand it over to a female friend." Killed my freakin' vibe instantly. But I stuck around because I didn't want to ruin it for the group. Still, pretty damn sexist if you ask me. Men can't carry bags, seriously?
Now the state of that place? Don't get me started. Broken glass right in front of the bar. And they start charging cover at 8pm.

Had a great time, definitely a must visit destination. Went mainly for the drinks and atmosphere, and let's just say it did not disappoint.

This place is terrible. The service is terrible. The security guard told us it was sold out. It was literaly empty. Then the security made us pay to get it when it was free. We sat down and the waiter didn't want to take our food orden. He only wants to take our drink order. We had questions about the menú and the waiter kept ignore my group and walked away. The vibe is good but the service is horrible. Beware for the security guard. They scam People. SCAM PEOPLE!!

Place is nice hace, I have visited several times, but now they charge minimum for use of table, $30 , $50, $100 and so on, you cant arrive early and have good beach seat like before, many people rejected the new offer. I guess greed had to eventually take over.
Forget you pay for a service, actually nothing has changed since last time visited.
drink selection ok, music speakers still continue to play up, but when working good sound
Overall if it's a large group yes it if worth visiting.
Prices are expected higher than your local San Salvador prices. That is just business.

Great place if you like watching from the outside.
Security wouldn't let my family and me in because we needed a "reservation" even though no where is it stated a reservation is needed at the venue or website.
We asked someone inside if they had a reservation to get in and they said no. So we confronted the security guard and was told their was a "dress code" for a bar at a beach which we were dressed for both occasions 🤡 ...
We came from LA with much more exclusive and high end bars and have never been discriminated against or turned away
Just spend your money next door La Bonita next door, they accept anyone and even had the staff invite us to eat after
Don't even give this place a glance, it's not worth trying out

This place allows minors in and discriminates on locals. I tried to come with my family and this disgusting bouncer told us we needed reservations. But as soon as people who looked caucasion appeared they didn't even flinch to ask anything. They expect people to at least spend $70 there so perhaps they assumed we couldn't afford anything. They need new bouncers.
Visiting El Tunco with my family and we sat ourselves down close to the shore so we could see the sunset. Service is terrible, wait staff was too busy watching the soccer game to attend to us, luckily one waitress was quick to help us once we moved to a table in the middle of the restaurant. Place was pretty empty, my cousin ordered a drink and she didn’t get it even though we could see the bartender wasn’t busy - the waitress forgot to put it in. We got our entrees at different times, one person got their food after the rest of us finished. My appetizer came about an hour after I ordered. We spent about 2 hours there because service was so slow despite being empty for a Friday night. Food was ok, the seafood was good but not great - unseasoned boiled vegetables, carrots were just cooked enough to not be raw. We originally went here because of a recommendation but I feel there are better places to eat in the area. I’ve had better food with the small local shops with better pricing and service.

I went in on an empty Tuesday night. I sat by the bar in front of the bartender, which he completely ignored me until I asked him for a drink and he said wait a bit. He did keep checking on me asking what want kind of drink I wanted, which was fine until I asked for the check, and he said to wait again. Once I finished, I wanted to pay with card and told me it would be extra, so I decided to pay with cash. The bill was $35 I gave him $40 and told him to keep the change. Next thing I know I'm walking away and apparently I only gave him $30 and he said they have had cameras to check and looked around pretending to see if he or I dropped the extra $10. So I asked to check the cameras like he said and immediately said "it's okay we'll leave it like that" Scammers beware!.

Me and my family were denied entry to this place twice but DIFFERENT reasons. Originally the bald dude told us we couldn’t come because of a fanny pack. Remind you, the women had purses and there was no issue. Then we were told we couldn’t come in because of our clothes. Yet people who “look” like tourists (if you know what I mean) came in with automatic entry. We were told we also needed a reservation yet they didn’t ask others. This place clearly discriminates on locals. I’ve traveled to different countries & never witnessed this kind of treatment. DO BETTER!!!

Disappointing experience! Beware they will not let you in if you are not dressed up to their standards but also they seem to be classist and or racist.
One of our friends was not allowed in because of how he was dressed even though his look was very beachy like, well After all it is a bar in front of the beach… they won’t let you in if you aren’t wearing shorts that fit their standards or sandals that fit the standards… or at least that’s what they say the problem was… they won’t let you in with jeans but the reason why I believe they are full of it is because the bouncers were choosing who they would let in with jeans or with whatever and who they would not… kind of dumb if you actually are going there to consume. Anyhow, don’t be surprised if they don’t let you in.
