Took my wife out today for dinner. We spent almost $80 for dinner. Order 2 for dine in and 1 to go. Told them mild on the pepper. OMG, my wife eat spicy foods but I don't know what they on the food but it was like ghost pepper hot and my poor wife couldn't barely ate her lamb briyani. She was tearing up and ordered a soda with ice. She didn't eat her food and took a to go box. When we got home my son ate the to go lamb briyani we bought for him, it as spicy too. Food got tossed. When we were at the restaurant my wife complained how spicy the food was but the waiter just pretend not to hear her. It was a waste of our money and a waste of food. I just want to say that there are plenty of Indian restaurants around and I surely would take my money else where. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We(my husband and I) ordered Tandoori chicken, butter chicken and garlic naan. The food was really good. Tandoori chicken was the best and the chicken taste fresh. It wasn't too spicy nor mild, it was just the right amount of the spicy level. The staff members are very friendly and they suggest the food varieties according to ones food choices. Since the restaurant went to renovation, the place doesn't look fancy however the food quality and taste will NOT disappoint your decision of going to this place. This will be my go to or dine in place for sure. Thank you for the great service!! Cozy environment with really nice staff. The waitress was very accommodating. We asked for very spicy food, but the food ended up not being spicy enough for us, but the food!!!! Their Hyderabad goat biriyani is the best I have ever had. I cook goat biriyani and eat it in restaurants all the time. My family is hooked on my biriyani, but I am hooked on their biriyanis. Their slightly overcooked rice is full of beautiful flavor and charm. It was soft and fluffy and I just couldn't stop eating. The meat is so soft and the spices have gotten rid of the usual goat meat smell completely. The flavor is just perfect. Their masala chai is very well done as well. 5 out of 5 for these nice hard-working people. I always forget to take pictures of food in restaurants. So I can't share one. I adore places where the food is so good you don't care about anything else! BEST INDIAN FOOD I HAVE TASTED! I had lamb curry at a spice level 10 out of 10 with garlic naan. Fabulous! This place makes me wish I lived here! I'm a little jealous of the young man who just moved here after graduating from Purdue ... or the couple from Iowa who live 3 hours away and eat here every time they come. They don't even eat rice or bread and yet this menu has them coming back and back and back. I've been interviewing people about their food choices. I just met a man who moved here from Ethiopia. He has lived in the area 25 years and after finding this place, he's been eating here ever since. According to him, nothing else comes close! Ordered butter chicken with a side of rice, for $17.67 he took a big bowl of rice out the fridge and put it in a smaller bowl and microwaved it infront of me, the butter chicken was also in the fridge but he warmed up in a pan on the stove, when i got home to eat the butter chicken did not taste fresh, in-fact it tasted days old. So as the rice. And the portions were meant for toddlers. I was better off with a bowl of chipotle at least it would be fresh and 7 bucks cheaper. Not going back there again Atmosphere: 1

If you are visiting Minneapolis and looking for some halal Indian food, this is the place to visit. I had Kachuri chat for the first time and it was really good. The butter chicken had a unique taste to it and the naan was fresh from the oven. The only area that I would suggest needs improvement is that staff needs to be quick when it comes to collecting bill and answering any questions the customer may have because it took a while in my case.
