From the time I walked in I was basically just stared at. Then the person up front started taking my order and as soon as I said I wanted chicken the cook sucked his teeth loudly…we looked at each other and then he just went to start making the food. When I received my food the guy cooking handed it to me and his nails were SO dirty and he’s not wearing gloves while cooking. I don’t even know why I still ate the food. I got fried rice with my meal and there was so much sauce on it, it was mushy. The fried mandu piece that came with my meal was the best part. The rest of the meal was subpar. Chicken was ok. Shrimp are tiny. Overall I wouldn’t go back.
Side note: whoever runs this place or controls the comments they make on the negative reviews is extremely unprofessional so I don’t expect that this review will be taken as constructive criticism. And as I assumed it wasn’t. Who would be dishonest about someone having dirty fingernails? That’s what I saw and that’s what I reported. Coming back or not, that’s the point of a review for people to make their own decision. Do better.

I always come here to order one kimbap and one side for lunch (it’s enough for me), I always appreciate the friendly service I get no matter who is at the counter. :)

Spending a lot of time in Korea and loving korean cuisine turned me off to this place. The thing I love about Korean restaurants is the initial onslaught of tasty sides. This place does not offer that accommodation. You can purchase some sides from the fridge but imo not worth the cost. I LOVE kimchi and what I purchased from their fridge just didn't taste right. I ordered the yaki and it seemed like they were freezer burnt and then tossed into the deep fryer. For my meal I ordered the spicy pork. The pork had to much sauce but yet lacked flavor. Not to sound like an old dude, but the music was blaring to the point we couldn't talk between ourselves and it was colder inside than it was outside. Probably will not be going back.
EDIT: Apparently the owner likes to add snide rebuttals to honest reviews.
