As after any great meal, I always need to get dessert and it was great to see there was a chocolate shop in town. I walked in and the wonderful smells hit you right away. I ended up choosing quite an assortment of truffles and every single one of them was fantastic. You can really taste the care that went into each one and how smooth the chocolate was. I would certainly go back if we are ever in town again.
Yesenia is amazing!! And the Dulce de Leche cake she baked for us was absolutely perfect...smooth, delicious, not too sweet, and beautiful!! I live in Julian and recently heard of her shop and wanted to support a local business. I texted Yesenia with a quick turn around order and was so impressed with her responsiveness and clear communication. The cake was a big hit at my friend's birthday. It's a refreshing change from the usual cakes you might get elsewhere, and Yesenia is wonderful to work with. I will definitely be ordering from her again and highly recommend her services. The chocolate was amazing and the shopkeeper was really nice. I even got flan they made from the Mexican restaurant across the street and it was delicious.
