Home cooking buffet style! The food was delicious from the tomato sorbet to the fried catfish and fried green tomatoes, salad, and desserts! Service was good here too. Thought they could have had a better setup but for the space, it works.
Ladies & gentlemen, boys & girls of all ages! If there was ever a buffet to wear your "stretchy pants" to, this is the one. Not the place to count your calories. From the fried green tomatoes, turnip greens, baked macaroni & cheese, dressing, mashed potatoes, & pot roast, to the meatloaf, fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, & made from scratch buttery biscuits there is nothing here that is not absolutely delicious. If you were raised in the south or want to experience what it was like to have Sunday dinner in the south, this is the place to do just that! It does stay fairly busy so bring your patience, understanding, southern hospitality, & your best manners. P.S. There is also a wonderful desert bar & some sort of lemon creme pie that I could eat every day of my life. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Oh we had a WONDERFUL time today! We called and reserved a room yesterday. It ended up being 25 of us in total. By the time we arrived the room was ready to go. We had a private area where we were able to converse and chit-chat. Cheryl did an EXCELLENT job serving us. She was so sweet, thoughtful, and mindful of her guests. She is definitely a hardworking lady. The food hit the spot as always! The fried green tomatoes with that lightly sweetend sauce is just so good. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and figured others need to know! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I had an amazing time at the southern food buffet! The crispy fried chicken, creamy macaroni and cheese, and flavorful collard greens were absolutely mouthwatering. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this place for a taste of authentic southern cuisine! Been going there for years. However we know when cooks change, food changes. My favorite was the dressing and the last few visits it was not good to me, it had a twang/sour type flavor I could not eat it each time. I was so disappointed each time, made me not want to eat there again. Other than that, great service, clean, nice variety of food, reasonable prices too. I've been to a few ALL YOU CAN EAT spots from Snellville, Conyers and Grayson and I can say that this tastes like authentic down south country home cooking from scratch. Everything was giving MADE FROM SCRATCH unlike the other places tasted like frozen or canned foods. I'd strongly recommend and I will eat here again. I didn't stay to eat the food but I want to share my experience at the restaurant and why I left. My visit was earlier today (Sunday, 1/14/24) around 5:00 pm. The hostess took me to my seat and there were cups left from the last customers so I waited for her to clean it off. She wiped off the table with the cloth, then the seat, and wiped the table again. I said to her "Why are you wiping the seat and the table with the same cloth?" Her response to me was "Well, that's how it's been done all day" The waitress walked up during the interchange and asked what was wrong. I told her what happened and she said that she would clean the table. I went to wash my hands but I was very unsettled with the hostesses' remark. So I just decided to leave because I wasn't satisfied with the cleanliness of this place. What else is being wiped down with those wet towels and are they sanitized properly? I did call the restaurant after I left and spoke to a manager. I wanted to know if this practice is customary and what they are taught because I felt that it was unsanitary. She informed me that they are not taught to do that and she felt that it was unsanitary as well. She stated that she knew who the hostess is and would address it. However, I wanted to share this experience so others will know that this is being done & be aware that towels are used to wipe where multiple people have been sitting then transferred to your table where you will place your food to eat. I guarantee you that this is not the first time it was done and may not be the last. I won't be back so problem solved for me but everyone else "be aware". They need to do away with those wet, filthy rags and get a spray bottle with table sanitizer and use paper towels. Problem solved!! Service: 1
It’s very unfortunate that they don’t allow for takeout on the day before I holiday, even though I explained to them that the person who wanted to eat there was disabled due to a stroke, and unable to walk even with their handicap access ramp. Extremely disappointed, but the food is good, and I will be back. sometimes under certain circumstances some rules could be bent in order to accommodate people in society who are not able to get out Due to a severe disability. Merry Christmas Journeys End. As good as your food is, I found it would be unfair for the rest of the family to come here and eat, and not even be able to take a plate home to our relative who couldn’t join us. I Gave them five stars all the way around because the lady in the front was very friendly in denying my request. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
If you live in the area and don’t have access to a car and don’t mind paying for a small selection of over priced food, this is the place to go… otherwise your better off going to GOLDEN CORRAL. You would expect for the price you pay they would have a high chair for toddlers but they don’t…. Little Caesar’s pizza is more home style then here… I gave them 2 stars for the BBQ ribs and fries, that’s it… Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

My first time at Journey’s end and I hoped to go back. If you want a good hometown experience, then this is the perfect spot. The prices are reasonable, the food is good home cooked southern food, and the servers make you feel you are part of the family. If you are new to the south then come here to get a feel of good old southern cooking and service. It’s a buffet so it’s all you can eat. The biscuits are spot on!
