It is one of the very best restaurants on Long Island if not the entire region. An extensive wine list accompanied by innovative, consistent, delicious, and beautifully prepared foods makes this restaurant unique. Prices are consistent with the quality but not unreasonable. Servers are professional but not stiff, and the ambiance is joyous and can be loud if seated in the bar area. A surprising and delicious entree is the perfectly prepared prime NY Strip, which is served with a side of shoestring potatoes and is as good as any served in a steak house. Manager Alex was a pro from start to finish when we held a family milestone party at Jonathan's! The food, wine selection, atmosphere and overall event was exactly what we had hoped for. Good food and great service. The tuna tratarte was great (highly recommend) but the ravioli was just ok. Located in a nice street where one can walk around or grab a nightcap post dinner. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

My wife and I had dinner here last week; they asked us to leave the minute we finished our dinner. Still had our last ordered drinks unfinished. They said they needed the table for the next party. Our dinner was of normal length, no aps, ordered as soon as we sat down. Over 200 bill with tip for just the two of us.

The food was delicious. They split the dishes we were sharing and the service was outstanding. We went back to Jonathan's last night. We shared the Baratta app and we had the Salmon and Scallops. Great restaurant! We were seated in quiet corner and waitress very attentive. Excellent service. Food was delicious and manager came over to say hello during meal.

My husband wanted Jonathan's double pork chop for his birthday dinner. We do not yet eat indoors at restaurants, but we have been doing takeout for a long time now, to support favorite eateries. We had not attempted taking out a fancy dinner, tho, hoped that entrees and Burrata appetizer would travel well. The chops were massive and perfectly done, as usual. Vegetables/potatoes and glaze needed reheating, as one would expect on such a cold day. The Burrata appetizer was a disappointment, tho. The ball of cheese and 5 slices of tomato in a box didn't look like much even once plated, and the fresh basil was missing entirely. For $15, it's not something we will order again. Once we feel safe, we will be back in person for sure.

Truly amazing! Service was absolutely fantastic - everyone was smiling and friendly and helpful and thoughtful! The food was perfect! We got the three appetizer specials - scallops were divine, oysters were great and the mignonette and cocktail sauce were remarkable as well. The meat and cheese platter was fresh and piled high. For entrees, we got the freshest fish! The branzino was lovely - just the right amount of the delicious sauce! Lastly, the lava cake with coffee ice cream was scrumptious! The ice cream has the most amazing coffee flavor. Thanks team Jonathan’s!!!!

Always consistent. The owners of Jonathan's know how to run a restaurant. We waited 15 minutes to be seated after our scheduled reservation and were comp'd a tasty appetizer for the table. Nothing elaborate but the recognition was appreciated. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
