Went here before the Jayhawks/Bearcats basketball game last week. Best customer service I can remember ever receiving at a restaurant. Everyone from the hostess to the waitress to the food runner was attentive and friendly. They were packed but you’d never tell by the fast, high quality service. And last but not least, food was DELICIOUS (burger/wings/fries). Will be back for sure! Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great pizza. OK wings. Of the several times I have made the hour trip to Johnny's, Better than average bar and grill vibe. I have only had one occasion with poor service. I go specifically for the pizza. It's a traditional New England/New York style pizza. It's probably the best I've had outside of the Northeast. Met my niece here so she could revisit a favorite place where she grew up. I haven't been here in awhile as johnnys west is closer. Delighted to be back. The food is fantastic. Hubby and I ordered the pizza and truth be told, the food is better at the original place. Man, just perfect medley of every damn ingredient. Nothing overpowering. Niece had a double burger with onion rings/fries combo. Sister had the shrimp tacos and ate them so quickly I'm sure they were good. Bathrooms recently renovated and how clever to incorporate beer taps for water taps? Seriously? Also Bathrooms were clean! Server was spot on, very quick and attentive! Love the original Johnny's!
