Normally this place is good, but lately the price is too high and the service is too nonexistent. I am a soda guy, and I want to be able to get my daily serving of aspartame. Last time I was there I paid for the drink, got my one hit and then waited: my guy never came back. He hit the other tables around me, just not me. Again, the food is okay and for Mexican food in Provo that is about all you can ask for. The chips and salsa are good, but that being said, you could do better. Food and service need some help. Loved the vibe and interior decorations inside this restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and super helpful. We ordered beef taquitos and cheese enchiladas. The Beef taquitos has a good crunch and the beef was tender. However, the cheese enchiladas were a bit disappointing for the price. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but the price was a little more on the expensive side. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great find in Provo! Mexican food was awesome and the shrimp tacos were so flavorful and delicious! The grilled onions and peppers were prepared with careful perfection! Our waitress Julia was so thoughtful and kind. She recommended these amazing dishes! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Delicious and authentic food and atmosphere represent this wonderful Mexican restaurant. We dropped in for a bite to eat and I enjoyed the authentic feel of the place. The food was very tasty and delightful. The service, however, was much to be desired. It took several minutes before we even got acknowledged and then the waitress didn't check up on us hardly at all through the course of our visit. We actually had to ask the front desk hostess for our check and a box. Would go back again, merely because of the food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
One of my friends recommended me this place, I’m from Mexico, and this place is good, but is not authentic Mexican food, the atmosphere is nice, but not Mexican at all, again food is good, but if you want something really authentic there’s a few places in Orem that taste more authentic. Atmosphere was good as was the service. Our waitress was prompt and attentive and very welcoming. Free chips (warm and crispy) and salsa we're a nice way to start. Wife enjoyed crab enchiladas, which she would rate 4+ I had steak and shrimp platter. Unfortunately, shrimp was overcooked and rubbery and steak was the toughest sirloin I've ever had. I ordered carrot cake to go and was extremely disappointed when I got home. The cake was very dried out and the frosting was melted and runny. I have to wonder how long it had been sitting there. We will not return. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My family had a planning meeting at this restaurant for my birth mother's funeral services. The service was very prompt quality of the food absolutely amazing. The wait staff made sure to get our orders correct by double-checking. They also made sure that we had enough of the fresh chips and salsa. The only issue I have with this restaurant is there's not always enough parking. The prices are very reasonable. A great place for a quick bite to eat. Or take a date or like me if you have to plan a major event this is the place to do it. Our family had come there for generations grandparents on my dad's side than my birth mom and dad took me. I hope to someday be able to take someone very special when I find them. #JoeVerasMexicanFiestaurant does what most Mexican restaurants do and give you chips and salsa, which I’m ok to skip, but since they were there I enjoyed them. They do a good salsa, that has some kick. I ordered the lunch special. Half Portion Of El Bandido served with a homemade sweet Anaheim Chile Relleno, stuffed with Monterrey Cheese, smothered with green Chile sauce, topped with Lettuce, Sour cream, and fresh Guacamole. It was really tasty and I took half of it home to eat later. Their #GreenSauce is a bit more spicy then most verde sauces, so I was happy. The special was covered in melted cheese, which really makes this cheese freak squeal with delight. I got a tasty beverage to enjoy with my meal a #RaspberryMargarita always nice to find a restaurant that serves alcohol in Utah County. It even had the requisite sign on the door saying it was a restaurant and not a bar. Lol Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great place to eat Mexican food! The side salsa and chips they give at the beginning was delicious and not spicy! Parking is a bit difficult to find but atmosphere is great! I thought the food was pretty good. The service was a little slow. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and it took quite a while for our food to come. Then afterward, it took a really long time to get our bill. Luckily, we weren't in a hurry. If you don't have a lot of time, I would let your server know ahead of time. I got the beef fajitas for one. You get a lot of food. You could share it if you want to. I like the leftovers for lunch the next day. They were really good. The rice is not your typical rice. I think it was lime flavored. Pretty good. Different. My husband got the chili Verde burrito. He really liked it. Salsa was pretty good. Chips were ok. My husband liked them more. This was my first time. Overall we liked it. We'd go again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
