My husband and I stopped on our way through. My first clue as to maybe why we should've gone somewhere else would've been the sticky tables, the second would've been when I was asking about the menu and jalapenos kept being mentioned on almost every dish I asked about what was in it. We got the lunch special, I got the chicken and broccoli. My husband got the salt and pepper chicken. The special comes with the soup of the day, which was egg drop. It was bland and had corn in it and NO crunchy won ton strips. The special comes with fried rice and noodles. Both of those were dry. Like very little flavor and NO sauce on the noodles. My broccoli and chicken was cooked fine and it was hot which was the best thing about it. It also had NO sauce. I think the cook is anti-sauce and flavor. The salt and pepper chicken was just breaded chicken, again NO sauce. This is very confounding to me as I've ate at a lot of Chinese restaurants and most dishes have some sort of sauce. Food was cooked well. Egg drop soup was different than I'm used to in a good way. It has great flavor. Chicken was cooked perfectly. So many places overcook chicken and it becomes chewy and dry. This place has great food and great service. The General Tso’s Chicken is perfectly tender and spicy and the Sweet and Sour Pork is crispy and tasty.
