This off path, across the harbor eatery has the true San Diego vibe without the dense tourist feel. Located in the marina where the fishermen and sport fishing enthusiasts meet. The food is hot and the service is super friendly in that laid back way you can only get eating next to the water. Point Loma is where to go. Unbeatable calamari and vegetable tempura. Great service and atmosphere. Beautiful view of the Harbor. Best deviled eggs I've ever had, bar none. Impressive chicken sandwich. Fantastic clam chowder served with house-made chips. The food was very good. Had the Baby Back Ribs and my wife had the Albacore Burger. Our server was nice but very slow. Spent most of her time at another table talking with them. Manager came by 3 times to help us with our order and to get the check. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Food was on the OK side. Wasn’t in my top 10. I had the French dip which was fatty and full of sinew. Almost like it was pulled off the bone, which left the white sinew sheath. I think that has to do with the prime cut they were using. Atmosphere is awesome and the service is top-notch. Looks like a great place to bring your friends and have a couple of drinks while enjoying the view. Right across from the marina although there is a road in between you and the marina. The ambience is quite nice here . The service was 5/5 ,Oliver our waiter was so friendly, knowledgeable, and quick . Even though it was a busy night everything came out in a timely manner. Calamari was okay, it was pretty chewy and the breading just sort of slides off on some pieces. Fish and chips were also not great, but the fries were good. The fried chicken with greens and mashed potatoes were fantastic, and the cowboy burger was cooked perfectly . For dessert we got a brownie , it had raspberry sauce on top of the ice cream , and it was so good! Tried the seasonal drink , the blackberry martini, a must try! Great ambience, food and service, located in a beautiful area of Dana Point. Since we arrived in the area we keep coming for my delicious Kale salad! I keep forgetting to take more pictures.
