My experience is specific to ordering vegetarian dishes. I wonder if it is done in vegetable oil or animal based fat. Sometimes the no egg veggie fried rice feels like prepared in vegetable oil and sometimes lard. For the first time I ordered the chicken wings but the shape of the wings made me wonder. I tried to bake the wings at home after making them into smaller pieces but I am still cautious. Since communication is an issue I should try asking using some translation software. I occasionally patronize this restaurant and have had an average opinion but this last time I did get an upset stomach. I’ve lived in Prunedale over 20 years and this is the first time I’ve tried here. It is a bit more expensive than our usual place but so worth it! Hot and sour soup so good I can taste it even with Covid. Sent husband back for another order today. Moo goo gai pan excellent. Fresh quality ingredients.
