That's a good idea to order nicely cooked bacon and eggs, onion strings and fried zucchini. You can always try good biscuits at this restaurant. Great iced coffee is worth a try here. I've been here a few times and I've never been disappointed. Tonight I drug a new suspect with me and he was also not disappointed. He went for the special which was the Avocado Burger and I went with the Egg Burger since I couldn't decide between breakfast and dinner. The food arrived quickly as ordered and was so good, we're lucky we got pictures! Definitely worth stopping in if you haven't already! This is my fourth time at Jim’s and it grows on me a bit more every time. There are quite the negative reviews about one of the owners being rude, but I have yet to experience that or witness it being done to others. She’s fast, and been kind every time. They definitely have regulars because of conversations back and forth. If you’ve never been let me explain some things to you and you be the judge if it’s a place for you. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It is order and pay at the window as well as a seat yourself location. Come early on the weekends because the place gets crazy busy and you might not find anywhere to sit. If you order water to drink make sure you pick it up before you get to your table because they only bring coffees, soda etc to you. While most forms of payment are accepted like cash/card when you pay it doesn’t ask if you’d like to leave a tip for the employees. Some love that, but the waitress works her tail off. I wouldn’t call her that because today for example we watched her bus tables, bring food, and handing other jobs as we overhead their dishwasher didn’t show up. She’s fast and efficient. I recommend you bring some cash to leave a tip on the table at the end of your meal. I love the veggie omelette here which is always full of fresh veggies, topped with cheese and the hash browns are always perfect and crispy. I hate soggy hash browns. I also like they add a small side of salsa to top it if desired. All in all I enjoy coming when we can find a table. Food and service is always consistent. Again, if you’re looking for full table service and ordering from your table this place isn’t it. Atmosphere for me is just meh. It’s not really a fancy spot. You come to eat and it’s good. Hidden Gem! I went once to try it and pretty much eat there every weekend towards the end of my bike ride on my way home. Family owned, and once you've gone a few times you'll feel like part of the family 😊 Thanks Jim and staff, see you Saturday! I love eggs on my burger. Overall, the Egg Burger was pretty tasty. It's a pretty thin patty, 5 stars if they were a bit thicker. Fries were pretty good as well. Many places don't make a strong iced tea. I wouldn't say this place has strong iced tea, but you could taste the tea. I like jim's. I don't get out to surprise very often but when I do I usually stop in there and grab either or something for breakfast or something for lunch. Last time I was there I had the Polish sausage breakfast which was a Polish sausage eggs and hash browns. The sausage was good it's done on a grill so it's got the grill marks and the Char flavor. Eggs are eggs. The hash browns were nice and crispy and finely cut. This is a great mom and pop place to go. Cafeteria style ordering. Food is delivered but not much server attention! Not her fault as she was running back & forth to kitchen! Atmosphere was good. Best part was they had a plethora of food everything from breakfast to burgers. Would stop there again if in area! Food is pretty good, service is pretty good. I ordered chicken strips with Frys and a breakfast burrito and it was 34$- too expensive for my taste. Another time I ordered a hamburger to add cheese was 1$ to add mayo was 60 cents and there was a 1$ done in tax. The employees never smile and are not friendly. Lots of opportunity here to get 5 stars. I would still recommend even though the employees are always angry and they are a bit overpriced. Me and my wife went there on a Saturday morning and this place was absolutely packed, not a seat in the house. We waited but for how busy it was we expected that and eventually got a table. The wait time was just under 30 minutes but the food was absolutely amazing. We could not believe how good it was. No wonder it was packed. We will absolutely be returning even if we have to wait.
