For the first time I had a great experience at the deli last night at this Jewels. A nice young man assist me and his customer service was very nice. He greet me and I conversated as he packed my choice of honey wings and potato wedges. The rest of the people I’ve encountered in the past can learn something about customer service from this young man. Period!

I’m from out of town so this store is new to me. It was superb. Fresh produce. Clean isles. No messes unattended. Plenty of parking. I loved the hours. They closed at midnight. Where I’m from ‘wally world’ closes at 11.. this place had everything I was looking for, plus some. The staff was all over the place so if I needed assistance they were close by. Making sure to stop by again before we head back to Texas. Thanks for a good experience!

This is a WOW WOW WOW story! I met the manager and designer of the flower arrangement because a friend and I went to pick some flowers. Her name is MARIA JIMENEZ. This person is the type of employee that companies like this want. Apart from her great talent with her designs, she has a big heart and EXCELLENT customer service. She is the type of employee that makes you feel at home. I would love for the company to recognize her and make it public since this type of talent, personality and art involved at the same time is rarely seen in daily life. I share some photos of the decorations she made. Thank you Maria for your talent, professionalism in your area and that CHARISM that captivated me!

9/24/23 2:45pm They have the most unpleasant person working the floral department here at Jewel in Franklin Park. Her name is Maria. From the moment I came to the counter, she was extremely rude. She had a sign on the counter that said to go to customer service for assistance. She was behind the counter and I wasn’t sure if she was the one working it or just unloading flowers. I asked her nicely if I still had to go to the customer service desk and she rudely replied “Well, I’m here aren’t I” then she snapped at me that she had just come back from her break and had forgotten to remove the sign. She immediately rubbed me the wrong way. What kind of a way is that to talk to a potential customer? I had came to inquire about a last minute arrangement for my grandmother’s 1 year heavenly anniversary. I was willing to even overpay for an arrangement since I came last minute due to my local florist being closed today. I figured it would not hurt to inquire. All she had to do was say no in a polite way and I would have understood just fine. She definitely needs some lessons in customer service. Horrible person to deal with especially on such a sensitive day as today for me.

Really big store it has pretty much all your needs and wants from grocery to house old items liquor you name it they almost have no wait times since it's such a big store including allot of self check outs fairly very clean compared to others ive been to and floors look amazingly clean I've really got nothing bad to say even if i tried
Love going here for my groceries because I can find everything I need. The employees are very kind and profesional. Will walk you to the aisle for something you are looking for.
This is the closest Jewel Osco to me. I have lived in Franklin park for years, and have always came here.. There is always issues when I go there in regards to pricing, the app, and service by the multiple departments that they have. The guy that was checking me out said that he couldn’t process my payment. Wouldn’t take me to another station, and wouldn’t directly tell me why? Not understanding why the transaction didn’t go through I asked if I can be taken on another terminal, and then after the manager came over and make me try my Apple Pay for the 5th time she said that it doesn’t work for people who have chase Apple Pay. Why not tell me that to begin with so I don’t waste 10-20 minutes in line? Terrible communication and customer service put some signs up so can actually take care of your customers! Stop wasting people’s time

Yesterday I visit to buy a water pack at 11.50pm to this place where the doors and internet mention 12.00 midnight closing. When I come I saw few customers inside shopping so I quickly start to grub some other stuff needed, but all of a sudden some one stop me and asked me to leave as they already closed the counters. Where 1 minute before all counters open. I literally trying to check out in next few secs. But highly not allowed and question me how I get in. I said o came 11.50pm before closed. But she act like I hide somewhere and came out and showing me a huge attitude to me. I just left without the water. I am a businessman who have 23 businesses, we success because of respect to people. I have more than 40 staff work for me from different nationalities. Black, Asian, white and Latino. Non of my employees rasist like the lady who confront with me. It’s very sad me and my wife decide to stop shopping in jewel Franklin park. I know it’s not effecting to their business. But racialism is not good. I maybe a brown guy from South Asia. But my parents teach me how to respect anyone rich or poor without consider color. One day whoever the lady who disrespecivley treated me will learn a lesson. Karma is B.. ch! Good like to rest of all in Jewel!

They prioritize side work over customers waiting in line. Nothing like standing on a hard concrete floor thinking about all the things that need to be done at home while watching the deli staff package lunch meat for the display case. Give me a thumbs up if you agree.

Is Jewel is gone downhill. I just recently decided to get out of my comfort zone of going to this Jewel all the time and went to Marianos. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t go there earlier. The food at Jewel and this location does not seem fresh with the meat and fish. The quality is just not what it used to be. I go here a lot because it’s convenient but then I kick myself because I look at the prices I paid for the quality and what I got and it’s just not worth it. It’s frequent where they only have one register open and creates a long way. The employees could be a little friendlier as well. Hopefully they read this review and make some adjustments because I want them to be good.
