The food was goodish. A bit pricey. But did fill the stomach. I was very annoyed though because they had Palestinian olive oil on sale that was advertised on the counter. It was $20 dollars which was marked down from $28 which was fine because it seemed like a hefty generous bottle. The lady a the register said she will get me one from the back and bring it to me. She brought me one from the back but it was in a paper bag that was stapled shut. I thought it was odd but I didn’t think much of it. When I got home I was annoyed to see that the olive oil was in a much much smaller bottle than what was advertised at the front of the counter in the restaurant. It is either I was wrong or they really did give me something smaller. Either way, after the olive oil incident and spending almost $200 dollars, it leaves me hesitant to come back again. Again, the food was good. I just don’t know if it was worth that price. The portions for takeout were also very small. I had an excellent meal with family at this restaurant. I definitely recommend getting a large pot of mint tea if you are with a group, as you will definitely want more than one cup. I ordered the lamb Maqluba and it was delicious. All of the food came out hot and within seconds of each other. Our server was accommodating, friendly, and quick. On top of the excellent food and service, the atmosphere is worth a visit alone. Beautifully decorated walls with large archways, this restaurant is a must stop at if you are in the area.
