I do not usual post reviews, but am doing so in hopes the restaurant staff takes note and adjusts their practices: So, I have been here many times and enjoy the diner style breakfast. The service is usually very good; the atmosphere is okay but it is difficult to have a conversation if you are seated in the middle of the room due to the poor acoustics in the room. My biggest complaint is the way people are treated when a line begins to form; you are basically kicked out by the wait staff. There was only one group of people waiting and we were at the end of our conversation when the waitress told us, "We need this table now." I have never been to a restaurant, no matter how busy, do this. It is offputting and I will hesitate to go back despite the many times I have dined there. The Burger Wow!, Fries are exceptional, Salad was fresh. Very good coffee and tea. The food is really, really good, folks. The staff and the service they provide are top knotch! The jelly bean colored walls establish a pleasant first impression. The restaurant appears clean and well organized. Anything on the menu is available, morning, afternoon or evening. I had a turkey club and fries which presented excellent and tasted excellent. The wait staff was extremely attentive refilling drinks and checking on the meal. Although this is a small restaurant they deliver big regarding quality of food and excellent service. I will make it a point to stop by Jelly Beans again. The staff is excellent - Efficient and friendly. If you’re getting a simple breakfast (eggs toast bacon etc) it’s great! Disappointed by the hollandaise sauce on the Benedict though. Very oily/buttery. French toast is so-so. A little change up with the food and this would be a pretty stellar place.
