Birthday Cake
Jelena made the most beautiful and delicious cake for my daughter's birthday. I feel like I could have asked her to do any design and she would have nailed it. More importantly, the flavor combinations and texture were perfect. There was no leftover cake.
What a hidden gem in Lumberton, baking goodness right out of her house! I came for the cupcake bouquet and stayed for the breads.
The work on the bouquet was exquisite and delicious! And the breads are ALL worth trying. I've had her original sourdough, sourdough with molasses and caraway, and a focaccia that was studded with tomatoes and olives. All have gotten rave reviews from anyone who tasted them.
The cherry on top is that Jelena is a wonderfully sweet woman who is a pleasure to talk to. Support this small business!

I had the pleasure of talking to Jelena when I picked up my first sourdough bread. She spent the time to answer a few questions to guide me on my sourdough journey and had some very insightful and experienced suggestions for me to take away. The only thing better than meeting Jelena was the sourdough bread that I took home. Delicious is an understatement, I will be a regular customer.
