Ended up here to a very small group watching the game between SA and NZ. Bruce is a welcoming and gracious host and I am looking forward to going back during "normal" operating hours. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person R 50–100

Enthusiastic brewer who showed me his brewery and custom built canning setup, impressive. The ale and pale ale were good, other beers didn't work for me (or the barman didn't run clean the lines?)

Lovely tables that seat comfortable and large and wide. The decor is very authentic and well styled and neat. Offers beer sampling. Waitress came across as new. Owner was on the ball and extremely passionate. The beer was very tasty

What a great place! Wonderful outdoor section, fabulous live music and genial host/ brewer. Both beers were delicious! Also some old style 'slap chips' with cheesy jalapeno sauce. Loved it! Worth seeking out Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Lovely setting... Excellent waiter. Amazing beer battered hake with delicious sweet potato chips (I'd never had them before!!!) Thanks for introducing the chips to me!! Meal 10 out of 10!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I don't know how this place gets high ratings from any other patron. Unless it's their parents and staff. Service is non-existent. Beer is expensive and mediocre. Menu reads like a school tuck-shop. And the only question you nred ask is 'what do you have in stock?' . It's no surprise then that this place always has space available when every other eatery and pub in town is bursting at the seams. Beer is cold - that's all I could think of that is positive.

Very nice little back street jewel.would really expect more people to visit.Beer good and food was good and reasonably priced.Did I mention the beer was good.worth a try.
