The fried catfish was battered and seasoned very well nicely. It was fried just right ✅️ with a decent crunch 😋 and it tasted good.
I had the crawfish po boy with the redbeans and 🍚 rice.

Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta
In a town full of Mexican restaurants who serve sub-par food, Jaz's is a welcome relief. The staff are very friendly and the food is wonderful and lives up to your expectations for cajun food. The portions are perfect, the fried items are crisp and light and not oily at all. I highly recommend eating here!

Super delicious! The bold flavor of the blackened fish and shrimp is perfection. I'm so glad we came here.
My husband had blackened fish, shrimp and oysters and he cleaned his plate.
The restaurant is spotless and the staff is really nice and ready to help. The prices are good too. 👍

The shrimp crawdad etoufee was kind of bland. The crab cakes were very good, the blackened catfish was very good. I would recommend it for an eating out destination and will go back.

Second time we've went and the food is always perfect! I've deemed Jaz's as one of my all time favorite places to eat and I'm fairly picky. The kids always clean their plates when we've gone. They love it too! The cost of the food is affordable to be able to go even without a special occasion. The wait staff is so friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean. The only thing I would suggest is some light creole style music and decor but as long as the food is as good as it is, I'll be back!

Crab Cakes
Just went through the drive-through with my wife, and even though their intercom was broken, someone came out and took our order in under a minute. Food was done fast and hot, and their servers were polite and happy! The smell drove our dogs nuts when we got home and I can see why. Red beans and rice was ON POINT! Delicious! Great Chicken and great potato salad! Go there next time you get the chance, you won't regret it. Good service, good food. They're gonna get tired of seeing my face over the next few months, lol.

Red Beans and Rice
I am an avid lover of cajun food. It really warms my heart knowing that the little town of McAlester Oklahoma finally has an actual southern eatery.
So, first of all, the atmosphere isn't the greatest. They have definitely started to obtain that cajun southern fishing vibe but it needs work. It's not terrible by any means just not great.
Secondly, I ate the gumbo with a side house salad. The side salad wasn't very big but it had tomatoes, onions, cucumber and of course lettuce. The gumbo was pretty good although I would prefer it to be quite a bit more spicy. I do not know if you could ask for more spicy as an option as I wanted to eat it as it came off the menu. Even though I like more spicy, the gumbo was definitely good and I would eat it again.
Lastly, the service was great. There was not a single moment where I was waiting to be helped. Good service goes a long way in my opinion and the service here is all the more reason to come back.

First time eating there got the burger and fries. I will say this Their burgers are better then mine. They are made by hand and the fries came to me hot and fresh. The atmosphere in there was awesome. What I could tell he staff has great communication between them. Will for sure be eating there again in the bar future.. My compliments to the waitress cook and the whole staff..

The food was really good and there was a lot, I was stuffed. They now have crab legs. I have eaten a lot of crab legs and these were hands down by far the best I have ever eaten and they were seasoned perfectly. Way way way better than Capt Johns!!!! The service was good, we got our food quickly and it was fresh & hot.
