I like trying new restaurants. I first went to Jays in the summer of 2021. I love the catfish and the chicken wings. Service has always been efficient for me, even when there's a lot of customers. Cashier and cook are both pleasant. I've read some bad reviews, but honestly do not have a bad experience here - and I've returned several times! Great food and service! I got the catfish strips which were amazing and i loved the seasoning. I also got fried okra which was thicker breading than im used to but still good. Food came fast and the people were nice. I'm craving more fish strips right now...D:<

A & J on Lake Street in South Minneapolis is the best chain for such food. This place is bigger but not better, and the staff isn't friendly either. It's all business.

The staff members ROCK! They were so extra kind and their service and accuracy was great. I tried the catfish, wings, fries and gyro. ALL of the food was hot and delicious. I truly waited too long before coming here. Try it tonight!
