Great coffee as usual, affordable and very tasty food. The internet is also very fast. Always eager to try their monthly food deals. I had the chicken wings which was delicious, my daughter had the kid's portion of chips and beef sausages with strawberry milkshake. Overall we enjoyed the early dinner, had the chocolate cake for dessert *forgot to take a picture* and vannila icecream which was delicious...editing to add chicken fajitas, kids beef burger , ice coffee which I have had countless of times and espresso

Cool place. Delicious food, Quite expensive but worth it there are good services and service is quick. Good and tasty milkshakes. You'd wish to try everything in the menu. They advice on healthy meals that one can take. Fresh food is served. There's outdoor and indoor sitting. Various ways you can pay. Comfortable seats and have you a good ambience especially inside where there is art on the wall. Good lighting and minimal noise. Good place to work remotely. Best location in Diani
Delightful food and a pleasant experience.
I was in Diani for a quick bite and the Java at Diani seemed to be the most convenient place to stop. It is located at the Diani shopping centre where there is also a Carrefour supermarket.
We were served by a very pleasant polite lady who took our orders. It was a very simple order of fries, a pie, ice-cream and iced tea. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. I enjoyed my experience here but I would recommend the following changes: quite a number of the food items we would have liked to order were not available-our request for them was met with the standard kenyan reply, "hakuna". The orders also took slightly longer than we expected to arrive. The location of the Java, is very good but I found it to be a bit too open as you can see tuktuks zooming on the main road.
Inspite of these few shortcomings, I enjoyed my meal and definitely recommend this eatery for those looking for a quick bit.

Always my spot whenever I need to just chill during the day(a large glass of passion juice is my go to on sunny days or vanilla milkshake). The coffee never disappoints!(Cappuccino is my portion😉)

1) Java Diani needs 2 seater spaces . I think a bigger space is needed as well. The place gets full real quick and people also are ill mannered and take up booths meant for 4 people and its only 1 person and they aren't willing to share a spot or 2 people take a spot for 4 people and pull out their laptops thus leaving no space for other customers who walk out and go to other restaurants nearby along beach road.
2)Food: You don't offer a variety for diabetic clients , like sugar-free items. These also tend to be more expensive yet sugar is an expensive commodity . Why? Make Fresh juices which already contain natural sugars available to diabetic clients . So croissants, brownies , juices can be made sugar-free.
3) Under staffed: You need at least 2 more waitresses or waiters at Java Diani.
4) Wash basin is slow and water is a trickle.
5) Swahili Coconut rice and curry rarely available and when it is, the curry spices aren't cooked well enough and still taste powdery.

Very terrible experience considering the precedent set by other Java restaurants.
My friend and I ordered for a double burger ....it had no fillings, just cheese and the patty. We couldn't eat and decided to have it packed but the packaging was bogus as well. The manager called Christine was very rude.
This is the worst experience ever.
