We ordered the onion soup, the baby back ribs (starter) and the prime rib of beef to share (and thanks god because is HUGE) and everything was sooo delicious! And the place and staff was just amazing. The onion soup is a must if you like soups, the salt was just on point, wee ordered a cup and not the full size and it was just perfect. The ribs were cooked perfectly, the just came smoothly out of the bones. The steak was very good too but if you don’t like fatty meat maybe you should try something else. This place nails the Tahoe vibe. We walked over from near stateline after a good winter storm. Their was a lone local at the bar enjoying dinner and several beers. A couple young families were gathered around the fireplace taking refuge from the cold and wind outside. We sat at the bar, wine for my wife, beer for me. For food I had a delicious Cajun salmon sandwich and she went for some seafood pasta that the local recommended. Our meals were delectable. Good service too. Special New York steak, usually will serve after 4PM, but they can make it for me at lunch. Claim Chowder is good, Burger and the sandwich also delicious. Dessert I choose Jamie's silk pie (cool but not ice cream, not look like pie, melt in your mouth) hard to describe but it's yummy. The lady server is pretty and super nice. We were here today for lunch for the second day in a row. The staff are super friendly and nice and helpful. The have various food in their menu and so communicative and flexible in changing the food by your desire. Jason's was super convenient while in North Lake Tahoe and really hit the spot after a long day motoring around the lake. I had the strip steak and mashed potatoes and gravy, served by Andrea, a very sweet and attentive waitress. I failed to take a picture because it looked so good that I just dove in, but trust me, it was delicious. The outdoor eating area was prefect for my furry companion and the view of the lake at sunset was beautiful. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area.
