First time trying this restaurant. I ordered the oxtail dinner with rice and peas. The oxtail were tender but there was no flavor. The rice and peas was decent but no flavor. The Mac and cheese was okay. Cabbage was okay. Service was great and restaurant appeared to be clean. Too pricey for bland food….round about $50 with a drink.

I don’t know about everyone else’s opinions on their portion sizes but my portion was very respectful. Jamaican food is pricy in the states regardless $33 for 8 big oxtail sounds about right. The food is really good, the rice and peas are cooked well. Oxtail is very tender but it had a little too much fat on it for me. That being said the meat was heavy even aside from the fat. Flavor is really good, but I think I'm used to a little more sweetness in the sauce. Plantains tasted great just could’ve been a little more burnt. The cabbage was amazing. Not too salty. I asked for sauce over the cabbage but something tells me that would’ve took away from the flavor the cabbage has. It’s really tender and no crunch. I’d definitely eat this again. (I will mention that I asked for extra…heavy sauce so this plate may look a little different than the ones you see before mine. Make sure you inquire about that extra sauce)

I was sent a coupon for rewards for a free meal on my birthday and I receive message weekly to refer friends and family to their rewards program. I go in to redeem my reward only to be told that the program is fake and they don’t know who is sending out the messages however the same platform I used to sign up is still in stores even at the moment I was told they do not have rewards. Why are they asking for phone numbers for rewards only to not honor it? I have been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years now and have dealt with numerous price increases, to be met with an employee telling me they will not honor a coupon offered with their name on it is a slap in the face to a loyal customer. I should have known though. Great food but terrible customer service.
